Love when pretty people do this lol.... what does that mean for us non pretty people..... jeez
I get it. I think there is the inner critic and outer critic. Her inner critic/voice is telling her she isn't the most beautiful person according to societal norms or entertainment business standards, but outer critics such as society will obviously realise although she may not be top beauty, she'll still beat most (if not all) of us average folks. Not to mention people with scars, hereditary illnesses, or others who could probably give a lot up just to be so pretty. Most of us are more beautiful than we give credit to ourselves, actors are no different. They just announce it to more people, so at times we can't help but think how ridiculous such a statement is.

Guys is it really that bad? 😂 I wanted to watch it when it's completed but now I'm not sure
I dropped it, cause the characters were just going back and forth. And for a romantic comedy, there really isn't that much comedy. I wanted a lighthearted watch which might be why I was so disappointed, I'm glad others are enjoying it :)

I think it is okay for her age. She didn't rush. she said before that when you are a child actor you get matured…
Thank you for this, I do agree that she did a really good performance in Moon Embracing the Sun as well as in Missing You. Especially filming missing you would have been very difficult. I also enjoyed her performance in Rooftop Prince.

I feel like you haven't read my previous comments... so no use repeating myself. Lots of love and respect to the actress and looking forward to how she will grow. In the future, please refrain from making this personal by making unnecessary and unproven assumptions. Makes all discussions so much less fun and open, which is obviously a common problem at our digital age. But thanks for taking the time to reply ;)

You could easily check by looking at my watch list but instead you just try to make a biased insult. Smart.

Yes, she's played different characters, but those character personalities are rarely very different, which is the issue to me to get to like her as much. The fact that my friends have voiced similar opinions to me, means I'm not alone. Once again, although I'm getting all this hate from the fans for just saying my opinion, not even me trying to harm her or anything, I think she's a wonderful person and she has been acting all her life. But to me, she's like Ryan Reynolds. Great actor, but an actor that now just plays himself rather than actual varying characters. Her acting just doesn't differ, the body movements, facial expressions, etc are always too similar to see the characters she plays separate of the actress.

While I agree that their relationship is toxic, I must say even Oh In Hyung plays a part in it. She never really…
I 100% agree, that Oh In Hyung has had some part in it! Using someone is never good. Although she was abusive, she was traumatized (like how she expects him to have done something to harm her career), and at least she tried to end it multiple times, which JJ flat out refused (until last few episodes). Overall, no matter what your partner does, it does not excuse the treatment JJ did to Oh In Hyung. If he was unhappy, he should've left her, which is very hard to do irl, so I understand. This drama was quite realistic in showing how obsession is unhealthy and harming. And I definitely agree that the best outcome for the three would to be just call it quits and each go their own way. But yeah, this drama imo was pretty toxic. If Joon didn't have the character development you mentioned, I'm not sure what it would try to portray.

@UncertainMa Both of you are obviously fans that can't handle other views on actors. To me, personally, ranks don't mean much, especially since you are all defending her with titles or articles, instead of actual proof of her great acting. The reason why ranks or awards don't matter to me much is because almost all industries have their catches, either they are closely connected to certain people, either their parents are well-known actors, perhaps they've been in the business since they were a child and have kept filming, which is highly commendable. I have a lot of respect for that. But where are all the comments on her various characters, expressions, her ability to do this or that? Which is why I mentioned Park Shin Hye, who is equally beloved by people, but whose acting (until recently) wasn't great. Almost all characters were the same. Sometimes actors aren't playing the character, but playing themselves playing the character, which probably won't make a lot of sense for you. With Kim So Hyun, (if you'd like to see how much I've seen you can always check my watch list, because obviously only the "right people who've seen enough" can have an opinion with you guys lol), although she has worked for a long time and is an important part of the acting community in S.Korea, none of her roles have been memorable for me, none of the characters. When playing an evil character, she just doesn't smile. When she's sad, she just plays sad. To me, I'm missing small movements, small eye shifts, more character development of having a certain tick, certain way of walking. Something that brings that character out, makes them memorable not for what they did or what happened to them, but them themselves. I doubt you remember, Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow for him stealing a boat, but rather the way he walked, spoke, his attitude. For example, one of my favorite actresses who has also recently worked on very interesting projects, Shin Hae Sun, in her roles has different characters. In Thirty But Seventeen she would speak faster, she'd do more quick movements, since she was portraying a young child. In Angel's last mission she was always holding her head high, her eyebrows quite raised, expression usually to a minimal. In Mr. Queen, she really focused on her way of walking, sitting, her facial expressions and so on. Whether you like her or not is of course up to the person, but at least she's putting noticeable amounts of effort in her acting. Whereas most roles of Kim So Hyun are almost always the same, sad is sad, smile is smile. Do you always smile the same? of course not. This is what prevents me from being a fan of hers. And if you think that I missed this one show where she was revolutionary in her acting, do you think it's right that the viewer has to see specific shows to be able to be convinced of her great acting? It should be there most of the time. I'm surprised you guys turned so defensive from the small critique I gave, a topic that many have mentioned to me, as well as liked the comment, so I must not be alone in this. I hope you guys don't get offended, I'm just sharing my views, you don't have to agree with them.

So sad rn, this drama started off so amazing, a calm relaxing heartwarming type that is wonderful to just drink some warm tea while watching. Now it's going towards the typical triangle love line storyline, just playing with everyone's feelings. ;( Especially because in the first few episodes the replies were quite realistic, but now, oof.

Hey no, you know what its totally normal behavior to start "fake dating" your friend the same night the ML confesses…
I feel the same! I absolutely can't stand it when they make the main character indecisive, and especially when the main lead just accepts that and waits.

I think Bi Soo needs some self-respect and finish his screenwriting asap, and then just spend time with his mom or with himself. It's okay to keep liking the person, but I think space is best in these situations to really figure out and focus on oneself too.

I'm wondering if BS mom knows that he cheated on her and just kept it low all this time "for the sake of the child"…
She mentioned in the drama that they weren't married for love, but rather protection or advantage. Nevertheless finding out someone cheated on you will never be a pleasant thing in a marriage. I don't think she knows about it.

Of course she doesn't, everyone can do as they please and take their pace as they wish, but it just doesn't change the fact that her acting is very stoic. No micro-expressions, no real body acting and so on. It's hard to watch her dramas because it feels like she's going through the steps but not really convincing anyone of her characters true emotions. It's something Park Shin Hye also had and has been working on. No matter how good of a person you are or how famous, if I can't connect to your acting I can't watch the show. She's really led a difficult life, that's why I'm wishing her the best and to conquer this!

Title Run On
This drama was very relaxing, slow, not too much drama, slightly more realistic. But the last few episodes were quite dissapointing, the chemistry between them completely ended when they got together. It was impossible to see any real advancement, some unnecessary drama, and more. I was hoping the last few episodes would be a more closer look at the relationship, but nope. I really liked the drama, but the last episodes kinda took all the hype away
