I get what you mean, I think ep25 or 26 will be the turning point of her character growth, at least how much she is willing to do for him. In the trailer when DFQS was drugged, she said that as he saved her multiples times, it's her turn to help him. It's the moment he was the most vulnerable, her power activate just in time to protect him against (I don't know yet, heavenly realm I guess?)

I do think that as much as her feeling is growing, her sense of protection for him may as well.
