Did you actually watch it? From Bad Buddy description, it doesn't sound the same at all. The kids aren't rivals and they are best friends from the beginning. The parents are supportive of each other's kids, even if they "hate" each other.

Good review. I really liked how pretty much everyone was a good normal person (with rare exception), and while there of course was conflict to make a plot, the drama for drama's sake was very low. Most episodes had something to laugh out loud about and no crying.

Very wholesome, light hearted, feel good family comedy. Unlike most romcoms that start light and turn dramatic, this one stayed light and funny throughout most the of the series except for a few episodes after eps 30. Perfect for a low stress, low drama binge. Free to watch on Youtube Set TV channel with hard TW subs.

The funniest Mainland Chinese film/tv I've seen yet. Great acting, especially liked Evonne Xie.

Fluffy no-plot British Bake-Off of youth rom com. Very relaxing and sweet. Nothing stressful happens, nothing much really happens, but gives lots of sweet squees.
