This is the first time I'm watching (ongoing) thai bl, just wondering how popular is Bad Buddy?? Because the TV ratings seems very low, even compared to other ongoing BL series. But each ep parts get 1M views easily in YT, is that good bad average? or does the views spike after the series end??

Agree with everything except the Wai part. I mean I understand hating Wai, I do too, but going to JAIL???? for what exactly???? That seems extremely unrealistic.

im rewatching the earlier episodes and ZZS, ilysm. it takes him the longest to take the first step towards WKX, but once he's committed, he'll take the rest of the 99 steps without looking back all at once

+1 for dubbing by ZZH and GJ i would be willing to pay for every single episode , i love WKX's voice actor but ZZS'.................

The rewatch value for this drama is insane, there is so much foreshadowing in the earlier episodes.

That was perfectly adapted drama. While there were many flaws imo my biggest gripe with this was how they censored censor ZZS' (past) actions in the drama bc I'm almost done reading qiye and the drama makes him almost hypocritical? BUT, overall I'm more than happy with this definitely a 10/10 enjoyment-wise for me and ZZS is still a fav and I'm so glad I got to know about ZZH I'll be watching all his previous dramas after this.

if youre talking about suggestive scenes then no i dont think you'll ever find those between M/M characters in cdramas. HOWEVER, dw theres plenty of hugs and hand-holding and many more romantic scenes.

im not familiar with the original novel, or with whatever scriptwriter said but having watched the SHL, it makes perfect sense to focus on WKX at this point? their personalities also speak a lot, like for instance, ZZS is the type of character who takes a while to warm up but will easily give away his heart and truths, while WKX is the exact opposite, hence why its taking so much time. Also, WKX clearly has more baggage thats not resolved? Like, even earlier in the series, ZZS had reconciled with his death (hence, the subtle hints instead of pointing out the obvious we all knew was coming from episode 1) , while WKX refused to forgive, its their ingrained character personalities traits??? ANYWAY, i honestly dont understand why there is so much grief over this, its not even that bad LOL. this is clearly a story of two male leads finding closure and comfort with each other. ZZS reached that point IMO when he went back to Four Seasons Manor with WKX and ZCL, and the plot is moving towards WKX's closure.

ANYWAY, this was all my opinion, and you can choose to interpret the drama as you like but theres too much negativity in the comment section regarding this and it was getting on my nerves LOL.

love how the series started with the focus on zhou zi shu, and he found love and companionship with wen kexing, and also chengling. idk it feels like he found his closure after years of anguish, and he seems content with whatever life brings??? so i liked the direction of the focus shifting to wen kexing despite some of the complaints i've seen here. unline zhou zishu, wkx cant come to terms with his past, or with zzs' fate ,, cant wait to see how they are going to resolve this

OKAY OKAY started watching it a few days ago, and it might easily be one of my favorites depending on how the last episodes go! I love priest novels, modu and sha po lang are in my top 5 but I could never get into tian ya ke? maybe because its one of her earliest works? But this drama is making me want to give it a try again. IDK how much it differs from the original work but this is a spectacular drama, like what censorship??? they're practically married LMAO

I've been thinking about Xuanji and her actions the last few days and she is such a realistic character despite everything thrown at her. LHJD was a tragic character who was betrayed. Then turned into God of War who was manipulated and lied to all her life and made into a ruthless killing machine with practically no agency. It's sad how the first time she acts out on her own is to seek revenge because she finally found out about her past and was made she destroy her own clan. But nahhh there was no sympathy and instead she was made to suffer 10 lifetimes to get rid of her resentment like LOL?? wheres justice??, yeah without a doubt Sifeng's experience throughout the reincarnation cycle was more agonizing and my heart hurts for him more in this drama. But I was rewatching those scenes and Xuanji was put through shit as well, like damn her family getting killed, sold to a brothel, etc.. while there wasn't much context to those past lives, she seemed to be suffering too. Idk how people feel about that episode but while it was heartwrenching, I'm glad there was Sifeng was there for her throughout it all even though he had to suffer and get killed by her because of it. Yeah, she really was so heartless BECAUSE she didn't have the mechanism to understand her heart :\

AND Xuanji living without her senses... personally, this was my favorite version of her despite being so naive and innocent. She's so thoughtful BECAUSE she knows she's missing something and she tries so damn hard to understand the people around her. She understands that she's a burden to her family but tries to lessen it by being the most selfless person ever :( her entire goal was to be able to protect her family. Even though she couldn't recognize or feel her emotions, Sifeng was always an exception, like how she always went God of War!Mode everytime Sifeng got hurt. Sifeng teaching her about the world is such a sweet gesture, esp when she started gaining her senses, he patiently showed her what each taste, color, feeling, etc was, he slowly taught her love. I think her blind trust in Sifeng kind of bites back later in the series when he kept hiding things and lying to her (BECAUSE he wanted to protect her but she didn't Know), and Xuanji easily believed in those lies. ANYWAY, I think there was a lot of misplaced hatred on Xuanji during the MISUNDERSTANDING arc because people somehow assumed everything to be fine and happy after she gained all her senses, LOL. I think all her actions during this can be tied down to her biggest weakness, IMO which is trusting people too much (her naivety) as LHJD, as God of War, as Xuanji. ESPECIALLY, since her family, her senior, everyone she trusted that is not Sifeng put her on a pedestal, honestly, I could never look her father and her sister the same after this. What hurts the most is how she was manipulated AGAIN by Haochen to go against her loved one, and this time she had to feel that anguish throughout.

ANYWAY, I could yell more about Xuanji, but TLDR; she's a very complex character and I love her a LOT.

AH THAT WAS SO GOOD!!! Ended up binge-watching it, desperately need Sleep but I need to yell about how it exceeded all my expectations. IMO, it's better than TMOPB, AOL, etc solely because the fluff outweighs all the angst, I could rewatch the first half of the drama forever. ALSO, despite all the negative comments about Xuan Ji, I loved her SO MUCH!! All versions of her!!
