I didn't meant to compare it like that, more like start up is more suspenseful despite being slice of live and the nine tailed is boring (for me) although it is labeled as action/thriller. I wanted to compare the general feeling of the dramas not genres. But it's your personal choice ofc

I hesitatet with start up too but imo it is really good, so much better than the nine tailed. I would give it a try

I watched 3,5 episodes and don't know if I should drop this or not. does it get any better?

omg I love the character of park dong chun, the assistant of ji pyung. he is absolutely hilarious and lowkey savage

omg I didn't realized that there were short epilogues after every episode so I had to catch up and I'm crying because the winning speech at the end of ep 3 was everything hhaahhaha

started without expectations and I love it so far

do you mean in the great seducer? yeah for my taste it was bad after few episodes ? but the actors and actresses were great

yeah my problem is usually the story. I like Moon Ga Young. she was so good in the great seducer.

yeah you are absolutely right but I had the same problem with extraordinary you. the story got boring after the first half and lost its originality. it became very average and draggy because there was not enough plot for the second half.

she is not actually ugly but average and compared to her "beautiful" self with make up there is a huge difference with her natural look, she looks like another person (in the webtoon)

I like this webtoon and looking forward to the kdrama but I have the feeling that this will kinda flop idk why. the story is not really original. as a webtoon it's kinda fun to read but as a kdrama it's to cliche and predictable. storywise it is like the kdramas which are good the first few episodes and gets boring really quick but I hope I'm wrong and the series will be much better than expected

I mean the kdrama is kinda iconinc. the setting is really cool and IU's character is savage and beautiful. I'm kinda sad that they had everything but still messed it up :/

I didn't know about the other countries but seems like an european problem hshsha I totally understand your point but for me it's more exciting to watch airing dramas (like @minnzei said) and reading theories and opinions after every episode. but I try to watch older kdramas on netflix which are on my plan-to-watch list

the cinematography was great. the acting was great but I dropped this in the middle of ep. 5. the episodes were too long, the main leads had no chemistry at all, and the plot was too slow for my taste (and usually I don't have a problem with slow paced series)

omg same. every week I couldn't wait for the new episodes and now I have still 2 eps left. I needed a month to watch ep 12-14, I'm kinda disappointed but yeah I would rate the first half 9-10 and the second half like 5-7

y'all so lucky with netflix. In germany all kdramas are available after they are finished. so I never end up watching them on netflix. I know it's not the case with this one but this is our everyday struggle :')

I was obsessed with this drama and absolutely loved the first half but it's so hard for me to finish the last few episodes. It feels like the episodes are too long and they try to fill them up with very slow dialogues and nothing really happens

I like Dong Wook too and know most of y'all are here for him BUT WHERE ARE MY KIM BUM FANS AT? omg I'm so excited too see him again

he was really great as a villain in strangers from hell
