I am going to watch 'Beyond the Clouds' which aires today. The trailers look good. Any plans to watch this one? :D

Yes, Kimchi a must dish on every Korean drama. Ohh and the food just looks amazing. Second reason to drool at the screen! Well, I might be able to get it here, I shall check out the local chinese supermarket and I think you can actually buy it online. I also looked at the recipe and it reminded me about my childhood. My grandmother use to make pickle at home and I remember the jars and spices. It was fun and she use to make us kids to help out! Whether we helped or created a mess, I don't know but she never complained.
I like Thai, Indian, Pizzas and the list is endless......
I just love food, lol!! However, this year my target is to lose one stone and exercise. So far, I am sticking to it although I have had a few naughty days in between, lol.

Thai lakorns are cheesy and OTT but good ones can be addicting.
Yum, yum.....kimchi - I would love to try it but there is no chance of getting it where I live. On my next trip to London, one of my stops will be for Kimchi. We love chinese food and are quite lucky for know few places here that do wonderful chinese food. There is still plenty of places to try but I don't know why but we tend to stick to the same places. I guess, you know what your getting. All this talk of food is making me hungry, lol!! Well, I am off to watch my Indian serial with a growling stomach, dreaming of food! Goodnight and sweet dreams:D

So far its interesting and the poor heroine has my sympathy vote!
I watch Thai Lakorns although haven't ventured into the movie land yet. Aside from the drama/storyline, I just love to see the cultural aspects and how things are done differently. Although amazingly the Eastern culture is so similar in many ways.
Lol, yes .....control, we women have that in abundance especially when it comes to shopping (shoes and handbags). My weak point is jewellery. I picked a few bits on saturday but put them back, so yes....control! This year is the year of control ourselves, lol!!

I am only watching one and it started in January....your right they do go on and on and on.....unlike the Duracell batteries, lol!! I have never followed a serial through....boredom sets in very quickly. I shall check out English Vinglish, its been ages since I watched a Bollywood movie. I can recommend Jodhaa Akbar - its a historical and really well done.
Well, the Saturday shopping venture was not too bad - less crowded and I resisted the urge to pick up bargains. Last year, I gave away five bags of clothes to charity! It just made me realise that more than half of the stuff I get from bargain shopping just sits in the wardrobe. This year, I will only buy what's absolutely necessary. Wow, sunny Florida - one of the places we really want to go and visit.

Hope you have a wonderful time with the family and yes, eat lots - its part of the celebration! Enjoy...:D
At the moment, I am only watching the american version of BBF. I am also watching an Indian serial - the episodes are short so easy to fit in. Looking forward to watching some exciting dramas in 2014....hope I find them soon, lol!
How about you? What little gems have you been watching?
Guess what....I am going out to the shopping centre! Haven't been for ages especially on a Saturday, hopefully it won't be too busy! :D
I must sound like a looney...but you know me and closed spaces with crowds of people don't get on. I know cuckoo to the extreme, lol!!

Hi Winnie! Wishing you a very Happy and Prosperous 2014!!
Good to hear that you had a great time. Did you get the bad weather there or missed it? Its been awful here but luckily not as bad as some of the coastal cities. Apparently more is on its way!
I managed to finish Heirs but honestly did not pay a great deal to attention to the last couple of episodes. I am currently watching 'You who came from the Stars' at a slow pace and its still keeping my interest. Hoping that 2014 brings some excellent dramas our way! :D
So what do you have lined up to watch?

Well, you must be off to Norfolk to see in the New Year. Have a wonderful trip and enjoy!:D
Despite having good intentions to tune in, I didn't see the X-Factor so completely missed out! The only thing I have managed to watch this X-Mas is an episode of Mrs Brown, half of Michael McIntyre comedy programme and the News! Well, don't I sound like a boring old so and so, lol?!
I did venture out grocery shopping today and planning to go out for a meal tomorrow.

I haven't ventured out to the shops as yet. I might push myself to go to the smaller retail parks, maybe it won't be so crazy there!
Have a wonderful time in Norfolk and enjoy the fireworks.
I can just imagine what the Big Ben new year celebrations must be like. We have plans to go at least once - not sure when though.
This year we are celebrating New year at home with just my family. I use to hold parties every year but I have stopped now - too much hard work and I hardly had the time to enjoy as I was always busy pandering to everyone else! As the kids are getting older, they also have their own social life so now I put myself and my family first.
Have a good weekend, thank goodness the weather has calmed down a bit :D

I saw it on TV - apparently record sales for Boxing Day! Oh boy those crowds did look crazy! I love a bargain just like anyone else but I cannot stand being in 'closed spaces' with too many people around. I tend to shop either online or go shopping during quieter periods. I even had my grocery shopping delivered at home. Talk about Lazy.com, lol!!Anyway, enjoy if you do decide to go :D
Any plans for the New Year? Do you go and watch the big firework display?

Last night was really awful! All I could hear was the rain and the wind pounding the windows. Good to know that you have the power back on. We had a power cut few years back and life literally comes to a stand still!
YWCFTS is rather far-fetched but not a theme we are not familiar with ie Superman. I just hope it stays interesting. Honestly, I need a drama to watch, lol!!
I must admit that I am a Anime novice but a curious one. I shall have check out Monster. Lets hope that we get back to drama-land in 2014! There has got to be some good dramas lined up for 2014 that will tick if not all but most of the boxes!
Have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy!:D

Hi Winnie!! I am fine and how are you? Happy Christmas to you as well and hope you have a wonderful day. Are you off from work? I have taken time off work and its a good thing since we all have the seasonal coughs and colds!! Nice, early present from Santa, lol!!
The weather is just awful - we have no plans to travel anywhere. Sadly, Weather and travel just seem to go hand in hand here! Keep safe and have fun :D
PS: Started a new drama You Who Came From the Stars - so far its good. Watching anything interesting?

I have heard of Winter Sonata and overall seems to be a favourite with many. Its amazing how our choices change over time. You know I sometimes watch something and think 'what the hell am I watching this for'?! This particularly applies to some of the Thai Lakorns that I have watched. They are very melodramatic and OTT but still addictive, lol!!I really think mood has a big part to play - at the moment nothing is holding my interest.
I stopped at twenty four minutes with Kiss me Kill me-rather heavy and depressing start! Honestly at the moment, the only thing is Heirs. There is nothing on my list to watch - waiting for perhaps a new drama to grab me!! How about you? What are you watching?
Its turned so cold, winter coat and gloves out now :D
