I watched ep 1 of Heirs yesterday and totally agree with what you have said. Lots of cuteness and an easy to follow storyline...so far! Will it have more substance to it later on...I don't know. This one I will watch but on an easy pace. Both the leads are great actors/actress.....LMH is for sure an eye candy so he deserves to be ogled, lol!! Well there's another point to keep it on my watch list...hehe!!
I just checked out the synopsis to HN...it sure looks like a good drama, no wonder you sound so excited! Happy watching!

Hi Winne! I am planning to watch Heirs this weekend although I did take a sneak look at ep 1. Will let you know what I think after I watched it. What did you think?
I am currently watching Secret Love and oh boy I am loving it!! You know I must have a 'thing' for revenge dramas because this is the second one after Shark that I am really enjoying! Although apart from the revenge aspect it has a meaty story to it which makes you think and reflect. So far its ticking all the boxes for me.
What are you watching these days?
Have a good weekend and keep that brolly handy!! : )

I think the first episode of Secret Love is airing tomorrow. I hope that its as good as the trailer, I need to watch something which will hold my interest. I did manage to finish Who are you?
Glad you are enjoying Alone in Love - it must be really good for you to be so excited about it : )
Its good to watch something which has a nice feel about it. Something positive which makes you feel no matter how bad things may be, it can all turn around for the good : )
Are you watching the X-Factor? I am sneaking in a few minutes here and there - I might watch it once they choose the final lot.

Hi Winnie! Secret Love will air on the 25th of this month. The trailer looks good so I will watch the first episode and then take it from there.
I like the sound of Ice World. Yes, your right that with some dramas/movies you are trying really hard to guess the storyline or character that you miss something else. It happens to me with sub-titles. I usually miss the characters expressions or something because I am concentrating too hard on the subs! Some subs are really hard to interpret so you lose the actual meaning of what the characters are saying : )
SYJ is a fine actress. I was rather disappointed with her role in Shark as for some reason the female leads start of really strong and then turn into snivelling idiots! But overall the balance was really good as KNG's role was very strong and revenge driven. Have a nice Sunday : )

I managed to catch up with Who are you? - I think for the time being I will just keep up with this drama. I have seen the promos to Secret Love and it looks good - I might watch it when it airs. Its certainly looks different from the current theme of ghosts or things that go bump in the night!!
What's Ice World like? Is it a J-drama?
Hope your get together with friends went well : )

Glad you enjoyed Salaryman - I will surely check it out.
I have really slowed down with drama watching, barely managed an episode last week which is so unlike me. Maybe I just need a mini break and see if my interest picks up. Lack of time is another factor!
Now I have heard good things about the JD 'Woman'. It has Shun Oguri starring in it - he is a high calibre J-actor. Let me know what you think : )
Have a good weekend, it will be a wet and windy one, lol!! Now that we don't get very often!!

Wow, you really do a great job and must be very busy.
You must have patience of a saint to be a teacher. Although I have to say that pre-schoolers are just so cute! Still babies compared to the rest of the school children : )
I watched about five minutes of X-Factor - I am trying to keep away otherwise I will probably want to watch it every week! Sharon does look good - no comments about her other half although she is so totally into him which I just can't understand, lol!! Must be true love, haha!!
Since the kids have gone back to school, I have had very little time to watch anything - I only managed half an episode of Who are you? I am hoping to catch up today. As for MS - its also on hold for me at the moment.
Did you finish Salaryman?

Hi, no problem. I hope your exams went well : )
Glad you are enjoying 'That Winter..' - one of my favourite dramas. Both the leads are excellent, such chemistry between them! Yes, Sec Wang is irritating although towards the end you may see her in a slightly different light.

Me too. I can't sit on the beach all day, every day. I really cannot understand how some people just do that on their holidays. I have to travel and luckily both me & hubby are the same so there is no conflict.
Psychology is such an interesting subject. Do you work with children? I also have a background in science so find anything under the science umbrella fascinating.
Oh yes, the X Factor is back and so far I have resisted the urge to watch it although I did catch a glimpse of Sharon Osbourne's hair. The colour is fab!! Doesn't she look good for her age? : )

Lol, Crazy in Love is also on hold for me. Perhaps later on I might catch up with the rest, I think its almost nearing to the end now.
We share the same hobbies! I also love to travel, although now we tend to stay in the UK as there is just so much to see and explore here. And of course, money is a big factor. What's your favourite type of holiday? Beach or sight-seeing?
Your right about the documentaries, they certainly are really informative and well done. I will watch anything although I am not a big fan of animal/bird documentaries - there is a lot of waiting around for something to happen, lol!! What type do you like watching?
I also watch the other news channels especially the foreign ones as they cover news and events which we don't always see here on our channels.

How nice and you deserve the 'me' time!! Hope that you are feeling more relaxed now : )
Good going on Jumong, you managed to finish it. I do like to read the synopsis before watching or reading something just to get the feel of what I am getting into. Some dramas are just not my cup of tea such as horror and violence/gore. Is there anything you avoid watching?

Poor endings especially when the dramas are so good just doesn't make sense. The only thing that I can think of is the writers are trying to please a wide range of the viewers ie leave it open to interpretation!
Your right about movies, they are quicker whereas dramas require a lot of effort in keeping the interest going. In my view no matter how good a drama may be, too many episodes just ruins it. For me the zzzz factor kicks in, lol. The longest one that I have watched is Crazy Love (100 episodes) however the episodes are really short. Despite that it is currently on hold for me - I think I got upto episode 52.
What other hobbies do you have?

Lol, you resisted so well and have better will-power than me.
I admittedly haven't watched very many historical dramas. Now Jumong is quite a lengthy drama with 80 odd episodes I think? Are the episodes long? Isn't there always a character with whom we just can't connect with - for me its the female lead in Master's sun. But I am trying so hard, lol!! Well enjoy Jumong and I hope you get it finish it : )

I haven't watched any musicals in recent years. I am more into variety shows and to be honest for quite a few years its been kids shows! The wonderful side of being a parent is that they have a social life and I am the free taxi, lol!!
I have seen a few musicals on TV but I can just imagine that it does not even compare to watching it live on stage. I know a few of my friends travel to London to watch the musicals and its amazing how some of these shows have been going on for so many years.
I am now slowly catching up with the episodes and watched the last episode of Shark. I must say it really has a blah! ending. Anything else on your list apart from Salaryman?

Two weeks is good so far but and now this is a BIG but - from what I have seen of the female lead, she is Stupid!! I just hope that she will find her brain very soon!!
How's Salaryman going? Yes your right about hyped dramas with rave reviews. I have seen a few where I have stopped after the first episode. I watched a few minutes of Nine and it just didn't grab me. Same as 'I hear your voice'- well I didn't hear what the majority were hearing, lol!! Oh and there are plenty more I can name. For me the first episode is the deal clincher - if it doesn't grab me then its a goner!

Yes it must be difficult for you Mum.
T of H sounds totally depressing and I agree not what you need right now. But isn't it strange how we watch some dramas even though they are totally OTT? I have started a Taiwanese drama Le Jun Kai - totally un-pc but the upside is that the episodes are really short. The Male Lead is a total a$$ and oh boy I want to just wring his neck!! But guess what, I am going to carry on watching it!!Lol...

I watched the second episode of Two weeks yesterday and oh boy its packed! Just a little teaser - JTS the male lead has been arrested. I am planning to watch the third episode now. As for Master's Sun, I really like SJS from Always and he is good in this drama as well. But I really cannot warm up to Kong Hyo-Jin although I am trying very hard, lol! Anyway I will carry on watching it.
I am glad you are enjoying Salaryman. I think you have been recommended a good drama as I read the synopsis and read some of the reviews, its certainly highly rated.

I am sorry to hear about your aunt passing away. It must be a difficult time for you and the family. Sending hugs your way and I am thinking of you.
Now I think that I started to watch Heavens Tree - is that the one where she meets her step brother at the airport? I must admit I didn't get very far with this drama, maybe I only watched the first episode?
Now I have heard of Tonbi and it has been described as a good drama about a father bringing up his son as his wife passes away. Let me know what you think as well if you decide to watch it : )

Hi, nice to hear from you and hope all is well.
I know there is no place like home, internet and computer, lol.
Currently Who are you? is my favourite as the female lead is strong. I really like So Ji-Sub who is the male lead in Master's sun but I can't seem to really like Kong Hyo-Jin. But having said that I am carrying on! I have also started watching Two weeks - now drama is good so that's another one on my list.
I know you're just back but what's the next drama for you?

Oh, thanks Winnie.
That's nice of you to say that. I hope you enjoy TWTWB if you decide to watch it and I would love to hear your opinion.
I am going to catch with the episodes of Master's Sun and Two weeks. Well that's my plan anyway although my mind is running through all the chores I have to do : )
What are you watching this weekend?
