Lol, yes....I think we need to rename ourselves as the 'British Weather Asian Drama Queens', lol. Frankly the rain hasn't stopped here since yesterday and at this rate the garden is going to be water logged!! Well all washing out on Monday hopefully!
You so right about Always. It had just the right balance of everything. Have you seen That Winter, the wind blows? Although the story is very different but the underlying theme is similar. Its one of my favourite dramas. If you haven't watched it, give it a try : )

Hi Winnie. Great to hear that you have a fantastic beach trip. I think both you and I have timed our holidays well since the weather has turned all miserable! Well can't be bank holiday weekend if it didn't rain, lol!!
I really liked Always - So Ji-Sub is a high calibre actor and portrayed his character spot on. It is a romance movie about two characters who find love but its not an easy ride. Its a tear jerker so have those tissues ready if you do decide to watch it.
I am now off to see another episode of Master's sun. Unlike Always, So Ji-Sub is a suave and sophisticated character in this drama.
Have a wonderful bank holiday weekend : )

Lol, I just love that word .....Aigooo!!
Thanks for a wonderful review, I am sold - Ojakgyo Brother going to the list! Seems like there will be a lot of moments where I will be raising my fist at the screen, lol. Well tonight I intend to catch up with another episode of Who are you? I am loving this drama so far because of the storyline and strong female lead. Any drama watching planned for today?

Oh dear! I just seem to be adding to the list as to why you should give WAML a miss.
As for the age difference, well its not huge but it is so noticeable both in appearances and more importantly the level of maturity was such a mismatch. One of the reasons why this drama was such a flunk!
I haven't seen Ojakgyo brother, do you recommend it? If it has MIL from triple hell then I will wait as its only recently that my BP has calmed down and I have stopped shouting at the screen, lol.

OK, I haven't seen VP - let me know what you think if you do decide to watch it. I am keeping up with Master's sun and Who are you? but watching Two weeks on a slow pace.
Doctor Who has such a big following but I don't watch it. I remember watching DW when I was a teenager and those Daleks put me right off, lol.
I was introduced to Thai Lakorns about two years ago. They are basically dramas from Thailand - very melodramatic and cliched!

Lol, I agree...SSH is a fine specimen.
I am not surprised by the warnings - it is a very frustrating drama as I could see the potential of the drama being so good. I felt sorry for her character in the drama - SSH got a lot of viewers sympathy. I do wonder if it had been a different female lead whether the viewers might have also seen things from her perspective. I don't want to spoil things for you in case you decide to go ahead but the lack of communication and the age difference played a big part.
Lol, now a Hundred Years of Inheritance did the same to my blood pressure - every time MIL came on the scene!
Well you know these moments of madness make us come out of our comfort zone which is a good thing : )

Bill Bailey's looks don't exactly work in his favour either, lol!!
The world of Asian drama is just vast and in recent years its beginning to get the recognition. Yeh, I am proud to be an Asian drama fan or is it Asian drama queen, lol!
Now that's a good question - you know it is difficult to say exactly what it is :) Mood does play a big part but I think for me that storyline is more important. If the synopsis grabs my attention then I will watch the drama and the other main factor is does it grab me in the first episode? How about you? What draws you to watch something?

Thank you for pointing out the error in my favourites list which I have now updated. Well done for spotting it!
Hehe, there is no way that WAML could be a favourite. I gave up hope after the third episode and completely dropped it after the fifth episode. Now this drama was an opportunity missed in my opinion. With a Star like Song Seung-Heon and a really good female lead, it could have an excellent drama. Of course with a few changes to the storyline as well. I just couldn't stand Shin Se-Kyung, her acting was stiff and so wooden. Now here is the controversial bit...I did feel sorry for Seo Mi-Do in the drama. I think the expectation that she should be in love with Han Tae-Sang was unreal given the background. Did you watch it and what were your thoughts?

Oh I know! I use to watch Neighbours and Eastenders but lost interest in Neighbours and started to watch Corrie! After having the kids it all stopped and frankly now I have no time or interest. And then it was the X-Factor and Britain's got talent. But now I don't even watch those. Your right, its the Asian dramas that are also holding my interest.
Oh,I remember 24 and Lost and certainly for the first series I was glued to the TV! Wow, they were thrilling and everyone was talking about them. But that also dwindled off. Frankly what's on these days, I don't know - I do enjoy Mrs Brown boys and I like Michael McIntyre although I don't follow any of the shows. Yeh, we are true Asian drama fans, lol!!

Having watched the first episode of two weeks, I agree with you. The first episode is setting the backdrop for the action yet to come. I am also keeping a slow pace on this one as I am watching Master's sun and Who are you?
The only British shows I get to watch is the BBC News, boring eh! I don't watch any of the soaps. You see I blame the kids as they hog the tv for their games, lol. How about you? What do you enjoy watching?

Thanks for your input and yes its very helpful : )
I think I will give both a miss!
I am on the same page as you regarding romance. What is the point of a romance where the leads spend majority of the drama avoiding it and then get together right at the end! Its like duh!! The only time in my little opinion that a drama get away with this is when the story is just so good or the characters are wonderful.
I watched the first episode of Two weeks last night and really liked it. I will be watching this one on a slow pace as I am trying to keep up with Master's sun and Who are you?

I agree with you - if its a romance based drama/film then I like to see the couple together as well. When they get together at the end it just means x number of episodes of anguish & misunderstandings which can be so tiring, lol.
Thanks for the link. Now this drama seems to be fairly popular as I have heard of it although I haven't checked it out- let me know if you decide to watch it and what you think.
I watched the first episode of Two weeks last night, this one is also going on my list to watch
: )

Nice to know that you also enjoyed RMPW : )
I found the romance in the first one slow but like you say the story and characters make the drama worth watching. I also like Oguri Shun, I think he played his character really well.

Hi : )
Nice to hear that you had a lovely time and were pampered. Sounds absolutely blissful.
I know what you mean about London - the place never sleeps. I have been there so many times and I never get bored.
Been catching up with Master's Sun and Who are you? And I have just started to watch Two weeks. Lots to keep me busy, lol. Hope you enjoy Salaryman and let me know what your thoughts are.

I am fine and yes had a really good holiday. We were about five minutes away from the beach and the weather was great majority of the time. How about you? Have you been on holidays or any plans for one?
I haven't seen Smile, You & Sweet 18 - glad you're enjoying them. Which one of them would you recommend?
I am watching Master's Sun and Who are you? both of which I am enjoying. Although they share similar themes but they are different enough to keep them interesting. I really want to check out Two weeks and Good Doctor. Hopefully one of these days, I might find the time to at least check out the first episodes : )

I am fine too : )
BBF can get tedious especially the later parts but still worth watching if you can get past the boring bits.
I haven't seen G of F but have heard that its very popular. I really like Jackie Chan and he will always remain a favourite of mine : )
I am currently watching Master's sun and Who are you? Both are keeping my interest at the moment. Are you watching any airing dramas?
