YY's power can kill everyone in Three Realm. - Some aren't understanding over YD's death but let me remind u, she had already lost her best friend who had been with her for almost 1000 years, lost her one & only sister, now her own lover. If I were her, I will also choose the same path like her. - Like CY said "Whoever is in love can't be sane". Love made her crazy! They promised each other not to be separated again so she chose to keep her promise.
