This is a BL series I genuinely enjoyed after a long time. I was sceptical at first since we’ve seen similar stories with poor execution, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well the main characters were handled.

I loved how consistent their personalities stayed. Little Jane says he doesn’t trust people easily, and we see his anxiety and doubts build because he’s scared of getting hurt, while still being honest about his feelings. Big Jane is naturally unsocial and struggles to express himself, so watching him slowly understand his emotions was really interesting, especially as Little Jane was reaching his limit.

I also loved that we understood the characters through their actions rather than constant childhood flashbacks. Their backstories came through their own perspectives, making it feel like we were gradually figuring them out ourselves.

There are some plot gaps, like random fight scenes and awkward side characters, but the leads carried the story well. Overall, it was the characters and their delivery that made it worth watching.
