s2 is good too but if you're a hardcore fan of yang yang you might feel uneasy relating to ji chang wook , wasnt the case for me so i enjoyed it. also for a summary... a heads up! i watched it in 2021 and i have forgotten most of the things so ill just try to recall and tell as much as possible . so in s2 the fl at first just cries for ruo bai , even after s2's coach ( ji chang wook) starts persuading her , she finds it hard to get over him , which then seemed very romantic now its js stupid asf , you will know when you watch it. and then among it i think chen xiang kinds of persuades her too ( not sure , he did it hard in s1 ) but i remember him moving on from her very soon and then yeah slowburn romances happen time to time mainly focusing on fights and her struggles as well , and ending uh im dont remember , its a happy ending with ji chang wook finally confessing .
and no s2 doesnt start from yang yang , it shows ji chang wook throwing away previous coach's stuff and fl fighting for it.
also if you just want to fill that void of sad ending of s1 just search bilibili tv whirlwind girl 1 ending , there is a special scene where both of them had children and training together to kids.
