Drama has only hit the halfway mark with todays episodes - I'll give my rating after the final episode airs. Whether or not it hits 10k heat on iQiyi remains to be seen.
There were 5 dramas that hit 10k and more in 2023 (including Story of Kunning Palace 10,310). And 3 dramas in 2024. SOKP hit 10k only 6 days before its finale, I believe MM can reach 10k heat index but if it doesn't it won't take anything away from how much I'm loving it right now.
It's a shame to hear it's been rated lowly across the board, I feel for my fave and everyone else who worked hard on this gem of a production but that won't affect how I feel about MM. So far it's giving me everything I wanted and I expect there to be more as the romance and angst heat up.
5 episodes went by so quickly. I AM HOOKED and loving EVERYTHING about this drama. Superb acting from the entire cast - no weak links. A special shout out to Bai Shuo and Fan Yue - best looking CP in a long while and looking forward to more of their chemistry
