So who's playing the housewife?? They never listed the actor And Ive never known Japan to show more than 12 episodes…
really? i know quite a few that are really long as well... like oshin and umechan sensei (like 100+ episodes). But they're only 30 mins long so it doesn't end up being really tiring to watch... oh yea so far it seems to have little romance in it and more things about the main character's childhood. But the first episode was quite amazing(or rather shocking)

No dodgy scenes (not even a kiss). It focuses more on the emotional aspect of relationships. This drama is really good and is definitely worth while!

you can find it on yaoiotaku as a srt file. the "raw" version has chinese subs on it so it might be a little annoying to watch.
