The chemistry of the lead characters is off the charts! Amazing use of music. Lin Yi was really amazing in this drama. I first watched him in PYHOMS and I wasn't much of a fan of that drama but he converted me with Love Scenery. Everything about this drama was on point, even when the lovers hadn't met each other, I was enjoying the show still. It didn't drag at any point and it was just so sweet. Love it.
For me Love and the Emperor was a surprising drama. From the first episode and the trailer I thought that it would be a really fluffy sweet drama about food and everything will go relatively smoothly and the focus would just be on food and the fluffy romance between the OTP and the second lead couple but turns out I was so wrong.
Instead it focuses on a love that is destined to be doomed and how the characters react to that when they are faced with that situation underneath the jokes and fluffy exterior. Unfortunately it’s not marketed and packaged in that way and hence it’s a little heavier and serious than a drama that you were planning to watch without using your brain and that’s also why I think it has such low ratings.
The plot focuses on Li Xiao a girl who has just realized that her crush and also her boss from the VR game company she works for has just been using her and doesn’t care about her at all. So to prove her worth she decides to go for the hardest level in the game they developed in the first test run. Things go wrong with the gaming system so now she’s stuck in the gaming world where she loses a life in the hands of the Emperor’s evil consort but is luckily saved by the Emperor. However despite she and the Emperor loving each other, Li Xia knows that it’s just a game and she will have to leave so she never dares to accept him properly. The other couple is the Emperor’s elder brother and Li Xia as good friend the female general and again because they hold so much military power each they cannot be together either. To back this all up is a conspiracy that threatens the security of the Nan Ting kingdom that the ML rules over.
Annyeong, I watched the drama . Its really Awesome. This is a drama with different emotions. I really like this drama . And its have a happy ending. I loves historical dramas like costume and period. And this one of my favourite historical drama . I like both main casts . They're amazing. And actress in this drama is really Awesome and cool . she is very beautiful.
This drama is the best C drama to start to it. Why? Because this drama includes everything that we need comedy,martial arts expert,handsome and strong male lead,beautiful and hilarious female lead,fantasy,magical orb,body swap and future to past traveller.With my 3 years of C drama experience a drama should be like eternal love that includes everything.So watch this drama.
Begin Again is really not the type of drama that is strongly grounded in reality. I would say just treat it as a typical romance drama whereby you just try to feel all the sweetness and fluff. The cliches and coincidences are aplenty throughout the story. They happened to know each other when they were kids, the guy’s aunt happened to owe the girl’s brother money, the girl happened to need a husband, and… you get the drift.
Furthermore, the business side of things in the drama is glossed over to give the romance all the spotlight. Well, I guess it is not a business drama like Perfect Partner after all and hence, the commercial details will be downplayed. So, for those who prefer a bit more variety and excitement in the plot than just pure romance, you may find Begin Again somewhat lacking.
Finally, the fact that the girl left the guy without notice for 6 years even after she found out that she was pregnant may be hard to stomach for some viewers when it comes to the plot. It is a selfish thing to do even if her reason of not wanting to hold him back from his dreams seems altruistic. While the plot is not as bizarre as the one in Well Intended Love, I think one would still need to overlook the way the story is written and the time jump to be able to enjoy the drama all the way to the end.
Be With You has a happy ending. Professor Ji and Qi Nian got married. In a way, they are destined to be together. Qi Nian had seen Professor Ji before when she was a schoolgirl and drawn his picture. They were at the temple grounds. Professor Ji had mistakenly taken Qi Nian’s wish tablet for a good marriage while her father had taken Professor Ji’s which hoped for family harmony. Qi Nian’s father saw Professor Ji’s name on the tablet and thought it sounded good for a son-in-law. In the last scene, Professor Ji and Qi Nian are seen kissing on the deck of the Ji family home.
Si Qi and Qing Wu end up together. Qing Wu is sure that she wants to marry Si Qi and will wait for him until he is older. She declares so to Si Qi’s mother. Ji Qiu couldn’t let go of Shao Zui and wants him to take care of her as he has always done since she was young. Shao Zui also doesn’t want to stay away from her anymore and decides to be together with Ji Qiu in the end. Professor Ji’s parents also reunite after divorcing each other a decade ago. His father turns out to be the chef in Shao Zui’s bistro.
Im really loving it. I started watching it on Friday and bingewatched all 24 episodes, bought VIP ao I could go to the next 6 episodes on WeTV.
