About the plot,
In 2019,FML who still can't forget her lover who died 2 years ago received a cassette from an unknown person.In addition,she found a picture of two boys ,one of who is really alike as her dead boyfriend, and one girl,who is really alike herself.But she was assure that both of them in the picture are not her bf and her.And the photo was taken in 1998 and at a cafe called 27(in korean version) or 32 (in taiwanese version).so she went to the cafe and she found out that the girl in the picture is the niece of cafe owner and she was dead since 1999.She thought it as an accident and came back home.On her way back home,she listened to the cassette she received and she time travelled to 1998.After that she met with he boy who really look like her bf but unfortunately he was not her bf.And the body she transfered into was attacked by the unknown person and she can't remember anything.She was just passing her life in 1998 as a high school student and she gradually found out that boy has not only similar appearance as her bf but also all the personalities he has.The picture he drew clears all her doubt.He was litreally her bf.At present,her bf once drew a picture of a girl running in the rain and she asked him who she is.He answered she was his first love.In 1998,That boy drew the picture as same as her bf drew and that girl in the picture was herself.And unfortunately,she had to go back to the present as someone woke her up.
She went back to the cafe and met the man who is about 40 years old and really look like her bf.He is the boy she met in 1998. Here,to clear yourconfusion, From ML 's Pov, He first met her when she transfered into the girl in 1998 and he liked her.but unfortunately,she suicided and their bestfriend,the other boy in the picture, was mistaken as a murder who killed the girl and he went to the jail.After those happenings,ML went abroad and he came back in 2003 .And the ML got a car accident while listening to the cassette and he time travelled to 2010.Although it's called time travelled,it more seems like soul transfering as they transfer into the others' body,who really look like them in different timelines.To continue,ML transfered into a boy who looks like him.At that time his original body was in coma.And he found the FML in her original body who is at the same age as him and they started their relationship in university.At that time he's the only one who knows about time travel and FML didn't know anything.
They were happily in their relationship but ML died in plane crash.He knew he will die if he will board in that flight but he chose to go.Beacuse,only if he died in 2017,FML will time travelled and met his original body in 1998.After he died in that body in 2017,he woke up in his original body who survived from the car accident in 2003.
In 2008,SML came back from the jail and met with ML who have time travelled and survived from car accident.ML knew that SML will also suicide in 2008.But he can't save him.And SML suicide at the same place where the girl suicide in 1999.
After that ML planned all to make FML to time travel.The cassette the FML received is from him.
And at present they met as original them who have about 12 years age gap.But he was killed by the villian in 2019 after they have met as original them.
About villian,
The doctor is the villian in both of timelines.In 2019,he listened to the cassette from FML and transfered into his own big brother's body in 1998.And he did psycho deeds and taught his younger self to be a psychopath.The accident of the girl in 1998 was because of him.And he also killed the ML in present 2019.
After ML died,FML got a chance to travel back to 1998 and at this time she wanted to change all the things.She broke the cassette.So everything started to change. As there is no cassette,both of ML and FML did not time travel.and so did the villian. So the girl in 1998 was not attacked by the villian.and she didn't suicide because the reason she suicided is that the FML personality makes her feel useless.As the FML did not time travel , the girl did not suicide.And as the ML did not time travel ,FML and ML,who transfered to 2010,did not meet in university.And FML existence dissapears from the ML memories and ML existence also dissapears from the FML memories.And the series end.So they can meet again as oringinal them with 12 years age gap ><.
I've watched both of versions but i only remember well taiwanese version.So i wrote the years from taiwanese version.So if you watched only k version,the years may be a little wrong( i am not sure).But the plot is absolutely the same!!!I also recommend you to watch taiwanese version.
