I hadn't planned on watching this show since "slice of life" dramas are not really my thing. However, I read a comment here that made me want to give this a try and from the very first episode I was hooked. I laughed, cried, got frustrated and even angry all while watching this series. I must say I am glad I gave this a chance!!! If you have any doubts about starting it, I would encourage that you give it a try and you will be wonderfully surprised.

Those words "history is written by the victor" says everything about Korn!!!! By the way, who ever directed the actions scenes for KinnPorshe is an amazing director!!!

Rape culture and blaming the victim used to be a normative narrative as we have lived in a patriarchal society. This narrative is disgusting and abusive to women, however, for many years men found nothing wrong with it. 2014 might not sound like a long time ago, but it actually is when we think of how recent the change of such narratives has been due to great women empowerment/equality movements. The point I am trying to make is that, such vulgar narratives where not uncommon then and expressing them did not equate you to a rapist. However, now in recent years, there has been so much awareness and education that individuals cannot feign ignorance if they make such inappropriate comments. I read the tweet he put out and I can understand and appreciate the current anger(appropriate reaction), however, lets put all the timeline in context and appreciate the fact that due to all the awareness out there now, he has evolved from his way of thinking. There is a thin line between "cancel culture" and "toxic culture" and I hope people don't cross it! If an individual evolves lets admonish the behavior, but also identify and acknowledge the growth if there is any. If an apology is issued and a change in behavior is seen then why don't we jubilate that all our efforts have made an impact? Just my thoughts and sorry if anyone is offended, that is not my intention at all.

Truthfully, I didn't get anything from today's episode. The way I was hyped up to see it and what I saw didn't match. Oh well, I guess I will wait for next week. Anyone seen the preview for next week yet?

Not sure why the rating on this dropped so much. The manga is a cutesy fluffy type of story and I believe it was delivered perfectly by the cast in the drama. Not sure what others expected but I for one loved it as much as I loved the manga

Wait, I have seen you comment a lot. This is a chat based on opinions so how come when someone's opinion differs from yours, they need to learn? What if you learn to appreciate everyones thoughts and not only yours?

This was really cute. Of course there were some cringy moments but overall I enjoyed it. The shot episodes was a plus for me.

Question: If your opinion is that it is 8.5 at best, then why can't another opinion be "best drama of the year"?. As it's more of an opinion based discussion, everyones opinion will differ on some things. I believe I have seen comments that referenced the dog episode as their best one while you believe it missed the mark. I guess what I am getting at is that it is very much okay to express your opinion without disregarding or commenting on others opinion too.

There was a problem with the algorithm so almost all the dramas saw a spike in their ratings

In undergrad, I took a Japanese class that detailed some of the atrocities of the Japanese during the Sino-Japanese war and WW2. I couldn't stop crying after watching episode 13. Imagining what these women faced during the wars and after (PTSD and Scorn from their own families). I loved this weeks episodes and hopefully it can bring some awareness and comfort to people and the 12 remaining women in Korea.
