Oh wow, the ending dropped this drama by from 8.9 to 8.5. I sincerely dont think it was that bad, but this goes to show that sudden tragedy doesnt sit well with most folks. Its better if we know the tragedy from the start!!
This was suppose to be my fluffy BL!!!!! The others TT, DBK, and UWMA all have some dark themes lurking!!!! This was suppose to be my happy HIGH!!!! In hindsight, I should have seen this coming!! - The title obviously suggest some kind of tragedy - Two main couples at the same time, ensuring that we got a happy ending from 1 of them. (Even though I am sure if Sun Bo or Lu Zhi Gang had died, the reaction wouldnt be this grave!!) - The series was too fluffy from the start so obviously, they were going to hit us with some emotional trauma!!!
With all these said, please give me back my XG!!!!!
It's early to say this after just 2 episodes... but the ending of ep 2 makes me think that it's possible for them…
Watch them end it with her opening a branch of her company in North Korea and running her business there. Obviously there are ethical problems with her Dad's company!. They might just let her choose him over the bloodbath with her brothers and be successful in the North.
Rewatching this now and I realize that the reasons I couldnt bring myself to rewatch before was 1. Fuheng and Ying Luo didnt end up together!!! 2. Fuca Rongyin died 3. Er Qing didnt meet a more disgusting death 4. Mingyu didnt marry Hai lancha before dying 5. And finally that Guo Fe didnt live till the end. I was fascinated by he character!!!!
