i dont really understand the correlation between first frost and overdo, but my comment itself made it clear why i cant justify susu's actions anymore. nobody deserves to have their child hidden from them for whatever reason, unless the said parent is a convicted criminal or abusive. she made the deliberate choice of hiding their child from qingyi, which in my opinion, cannot be compensated by anything, no apology or explanation down the line changes what he lost. the kid lived 5/6 years without knowing who his own father is. qingyi didnt get a say in any of this either, the decision to keep him in the dark was made entirely for him, not with him. i always understood ren susu's actions in the past, she never deliberately implicated him nor involved him in anything dangerous. but for me, i draw the line here.

the fl left with mls child without him ever knowing he had a son, and years later she comes back with the now grown kid alongside his brother, having lied about it the whole time. the real father lost years he can never get back, he missed every milestone, first steps, first words, all of it. it was HER deliberate choice to lie, stop justifying her obviously wrong decisions.
