ugh some users here are so odd...just yesterday there was a guy who said lxx treating another girl as a rebound isnt his fault, its zws fault cause she "created this monster"💀💀i assumed he was another one of those alpha sigma males and just blocked + reported him. but today we have another dude who says lxx forcing himself on zw is okay and she deserves even worse apparantly...do these people not think twice before hitting the post button..?

i feel the same way. she was so independent and strong the whole time in the novel but the moment lxx entered the picture after the time skip, she became weak and a damsel in distress. author made her so miserable just so they could start living together😭

nope, it's the script. the novel is very different. In the novel, zw is jobless and she had no place to stay at. so in that situation, it was either be homeless or live with lxx. but it's different in the drama

so we watched the butchered version of their convo😭zw was dead silent when lxx did a kabedon so i literally could not understand where the talks of living tgt came up from...it also didnt help that the subs were so bad

following the novel closely means adding those toxic scenes, they go hand in hand unfortunately. these 2 eps were especially messy and confusing specifically bc of censorship cutting the scenes and mango doing a trash job at editing, so following the novel meant more cut scenes and more cut scenes means more confusion for us :) this drama has been a turn your brain off since day 1 and i was religiously doing that but todays episodes are just way too incoherent so i get you lol. the only solution is either scriptwriters play it safe or censorship backs off

i feel like it would've been worse if they followed the novel closely in the adult arc because most of those scenes would've gotten deleted by censorship anyway, leaving us with even more random cuts between scenes. the script itself was milder than the novel but most scenes still got removed, i dont even wanna imagine what state this drama would be in had they followed the novel closely.
apparently the script had a choking scene during the unbuttoning moment but they just showed lxx cornering wanwan with a bunch of cuts in between. and the bedroom scene was supposed to be way more intense but that got watered down too. mango did a horrible job editing, should have atleast edited the scenes in a way viewers could connect the story but nah they just conveniently removed the scenes which didnt pass censorship

i honestly find him so so so creepy, the way he is constantly pushing his feelings towards her even though she drew a strict line...this is not romantic at all man
