I have another perspective upon love... the kind that would never gamble upon health issues on my behalf for my partner since it could have been avoided, meaning the unprotected sex. To me it makes no sense nor gives a bigger impression of love. I can understand though how it feels for others to their perspective. Great acting and chemistry between the leads.
The greatest drama I have ever seen from all aspects!!!! Although I avoid seeing dramas with sad endings, this is a masterpiece.... The only thing missing is a closure for them both and even better a chance to live their romance. They didn't even get to say their farewells..... I truly wish for a second season which compensates for all the heartbreaking tears shed!!!! 11/10 for me❤️
Do you know the song a little bit of everything by Lou Bega that goes like; A little bit of Monica in my life, A little bit of Erica by my side, A little bit of Rita is all I need, A little bit of Tina is what I see… This lakorn kind of reminded me of that song. As if there was no real story behind it and tried to mix and match bits of everything to make it happen. Its a pity because the cast was good but without any reasoning behind their act, it seemed pointless or comical even....
One of the greatest movies I have ever seen. The underlying theme, descrimination and mistreatment of women was highlighted in realistic terms and the fact that there are always people who know how to treat people regardless their gender, love them and hope for a better world with everyone in it, gives you an optimistic sense despite the tragedy...
As an American, I am a bit horrified that people think our culture is displayed in movies and tv. Maybe a little…
I am glad we had this chat! I think it all begins with a seed implanted. A fan thinking: Have we gone too far judging mr / mrs actor / singer on the matter of whatever? Is it me I am not satisfied with and I project it to my idol? An idol thinking is it ok to allow all those practices on my life no matter what the cost? will I be truly happy? An executive of an agency thinking what about corporate ethics and social responsibility? will my children bare the same hardships on their occupation tomorrow? Cause societies don't evolve as a whole. It actually takes oneself first, then my peers, then groups of people, in the end its society.
It is pretty much has to do with Korean "conservative" culture and traditions. Korea has lot of Taboos, forced…
Too pity! I don't think that nor in U.S. or in major European countries (with heavy industries on music, theater, movies, TV productions} have so much control over their artists on behalf of their agencies and their fans. Maybe that was the case from 1920 till 1970. Back then they (artists) had to be role models without flaws in terms of beauty, sexuality, social behavior etc, just like the things you describe in Korean Industry right now... I watched some documentaries on kpop and kdrama idols / agencies / fans. I sincerely hope that all those talented and hard working people (in all fields involved as mentioned earlier, idols, agents, fans) will eventually reflect on how scary and unfair this situation is and come to balance it somehow...I am optimistic that as society "matures" their hearts will soften and go back to respecting themselves first.
you it is very heart brokening and a true masterpiece!!!!
