SHK ruined it for me. I was also so excited to see LDH back on my screen but his character seems to have been added as an after thought... Overall the plot is interesting enough that I will be watching season 2
Beyond the gross generalization and inaccurate representation of Africa, I'm mad at the writers for including those scenes because they add absolutely NOTHING to the plot. It just crushed the excitement I had for this first episode. The CEO asking the team if Taesung had worn sunscreen while digging the well was the nail in the coffin. I'm tired.
I usually like JTBC's slow pacing but they took it too far this time, I had to drop. I was also disappointed by how the story was focused on one character and not 3 like the poster implies. And their male interests had too much screen time for my liking so yea, it's a no for me.
I really wanted to like this drama because of the actors but I couldn't bring myself to watch the last 4 episodes :(( I'm not sure if it makes sense, but I wish it had been filmed in a more k-drama way and less in a "webtoon come to life" way. I also think that it would've turned out better if it had been produced by tvn instead of sbs... Overall this is a fun and lighthearted drama that my 16 year old self would've given 5 stars to lol but shoutout to the main cast and their chemistry for making this cliché story easier to digest!!
No one would have been disappointed with this ending had Minchae not been introduced to us as such a key element in the story. The writer should have chronicled Heedo's life in the right order(from 18 to adult life with no jumps to present day) to make it clear that this story is about a main character reflecting on her first love and the lessons she learned throughout this experience which made her grow into the adult that she is now in present day and which she can pass down to her daughter. So overall I kinda understand what the writer had in mind but it was poorly executed.
