wierd question: I was browsing in gay male lead tag and this movie also popped up! is there a gay character?
There is! It's subtextual! As in, you have to be aware of it to notice it.
A lot of us who watched the movie when it first became available were all aware of the subtext because there was a lot of articles and conversation about it at the time.
I guess with time those conversations were forgotten so the movie's message got a bit lost too.
