probably because our novel starts with a 16yo f*cking a male pr*stitute into oblivion!
It's kind of a risqué fandom! And the novel already has a lot of people who bash it for being immoral. This has been going on since the book was put online!
So people just want a safe and peaceful adaptation to enjoy quietly.I don't think being loud will be beneficial in any significant way.

I don't think necessarily. I've seen non-bl shows in which men hugged and even slept in the same bed together. If the social queues are anything like central and west Asia, then I would say touching between men is okay too but it depends on the context.
