i know they said in flashback when cy and wzf were being hunted in the forest, wzf sacrificed himself for cy that's why he got taken away by drug traffickers and cy escaped but i forgot if they already show that or going to show more flashback in future episodes...

episodes 11-12 they have good scenes imo, they both worry about each other especially chen yu at the end when wzf didn't show up and actually got in trouble

episodes 14-15 too, some angst but chen yu still protect wzf from the fire even tho he felt betrayed...

love the recent episodes i'm only getting more and more invested... rogue police officer chen yu is kinda hot ngl. he's interesting as an mc because he doesn't just blindly follow orders. think they're trying to show us that he has the capacity to be morally-grey too. i doubt he'd stray as far as be a "villain" in the show but its interesting to see him go off the rails for being in the dark about the truth.

also love that other characters are written in a way we can understand their choices even if they're technically on the "bad" side. the whole kun, mengmeng and wan heda drama and even dong's beef/bad blood with the mengka people are entertaining to me. trying to guess everyone's motivations and the show slowly revealing them is so much fun
