Love brain is a bit too far stretched. I do agree that she became a bit weak, but I don't think I called her a love brain though. The main point of her bombing the main camp is to weaken Beipan's forces and morale. It didn't end the war yet, but it certainly made the Beipan think twice before returning again when they were pushed back by the Wu forces since all the major people from their country have died.

I think it was straightforward on what she said. It didn't have any hidden message. The others didn't trust LTG and her words were an assurance, but the main thing to take away is that she would have killed herself if it was poison.

Hmmm...I only remember NYZ saying it in ep 23. I don't remember RY saying it. Yes, at first she was slowly breaking away from him due to conflicts with LTG and her realizing what she wanted to do in life but afterwards when she almost lost NYZ, that's when she realized how much he meant to her. She was even willing to die with him at ep 20 if the pill LTG gave him was poison.

When did Ruyi say that she will live on even without Yuanzhou?

That strong bond has already been shown throughout their journey together. Idk how more flashbacks can be shown to prove this when he's always with the gang. They fought battles and protect eachother, they fight and makeup, they tease and laugh with eachother.

Yuanzhou was the one that told Ruyi if she dies than he would move on, not Ruyi. It's also been shown in ep 21 after Ruyi almost lost NYZ that she would be the most devastated and may kill herself. This was clarified by Shisan.

😬 I haven't rate anything yet for MDL. I just can't bring myself to do it, but Douban is harsh.

Honestly, both characters were badass but lacked the background info. Not just ML, but FL also.

FL has a backstory with the empress and scarlet guards but it was only shown through small flashbacks which didn't give a strong impression while ML was shown a strong bond with his brothers and we see all this through the journey.

I felt like instead of focusing her all on the scarlet guards, FL would have had a better arc of having a mysterious background come into play and overcoming that. Don't forget, they fast forwarded her arc with the first prince and second prince. Plus, her d***h scene was the quickest.

I feel like ML is fine. He's the leader of Liu Dao hall. He's the one that they can trust. The reason his character is so popular is because of his compassion and love for his country, brothers, and to Ruyi. His righteousness to be good and do good. One thing I would change about him is not to be too green and be an initiator since his character always gets overpowered by FL.

And sorry, but I felt like 3rd ML never learned his lesson; he kept having the same issue and no growth until the very end after everybody was -....

And haters will hate because there's nothing wrong with Ning Yuan Zhou's character. Weibo haters just want to bring LYN down, but I do agree that FL's arc was pretty underdeveloped.

I'm glad that I can go back and watch all those happy moments with the leads and the gang because there was plenty of those scenes!

True, she didn't need to kill anyone, but she did. I feel like Shisan and the main leads should have lived.
