Same, same lol. I did watch the beginning like in 2x mode because it was a bit uncomfortable, but once ML accepted it, it transitioned into an interesting dynamic in their relationship. I agree about ML being a koala! He was in denial and obsessed with the FL lol. For the FL, at first, it was unbearable with her character, but then later on her character became the comedic relief. I didn't realize it at first since it came so naturally that her and ML swapped roles. ML does it to her while she's unconscious. I think I could fully enjoy this because they still made ML a smart, cunning, and powerful character. Yes, he's weak to FL, but he still does what he needs to do. And, I agree about this couple guininely having a great time even when they were sneaking around lmao.

Thanks! Loved it. This was good drama! The beginning part was a bit excessive, but once you get pass that, their relationship grows on you. I enjoyed it and had plenty of laughs.
The reviews were so positive on youtube for this one, but I got bored. I tried to liking it and even watching it up to the 30 min mark because MHD looks so good, but I'm turn off by his voice dubber and I could not stand the cringe acting of the FL actress although I've seen her previously and she was fine.
Stop at ep 34 if you don't want any heartache afterwards. After this episode, it does transition into a new war storyline. Stop here, and just believe that ML and FL caught up with the others and went home safely.
Title:"A Woman Disguised as a Man Gets Favored by the Prince and Wants to Make Me a Consort Season 3"…
This was better than Season 2, but it still lacked proper development of the female lead’s romance. As a viewer, I can see that the male lead is initially mean and intimidating toward the female lead, even threatening her life multiple times, which causes her to act fearful around him. At the same time, I also see that he genuinely cares and falls for her subconsciously even if he doesn’t openly pamper her or flood her with romance. However, we get almost nothing from the female lead’s side. It feels like she never really falls for him and she’s just there, which makes the ending feel like it's missing a proper ending.
I love both leads, but the storyline was just okay, even though I enjoyed the previous version. Hopefully, they improve the script and adapt it better.
I really wanted to like this, but…it was just okay, mediocre at best. This drama would have been so much better if they hadn’t included that transmigrator girl with the system. I honestly didn’t care for her role at all.
What I would rather see was the female lead changing her own fate, understanding how and why she developed bipolar disorder, and whether she would eventually heal. I also wish they had focused more on the male lead’s journey; how he eventually was forced to be pushed out of her life and then found his way back to her as a Lu.
The drama felt really promising in episode one, but once the transmigrator girl was introduced, I kind of lost interest. After that, I was mostly just watching to finish it.
Love the ML's character, but that's about it. The good people were quick-witted and smart while the villians were too naive. Now, this drama is what I call lazy writing. There's no substance to the story.
I really liked this, but just wish the ending was different. I would have had the FL abdicate the throne to ML and leave him forever so he'll be safe. I wanted the ML to realize that he had lost the FL and that he had prophecized it all wrong, and then he'll chase after FL and their baby to come back lol.
Anyways, I loved the push and pull between the leads. Out of all Zhang Chi's FL, I'd say Jia Lu matches visually well with him. Not saying his other leads weren't pretty.
Honestly, I only started watching this because it was on my waitlist, and at first it felt like every other revenge drama with the same kind of storyline, just executed a little differently. I wasn’t really invested in the beginning, but around episode 10 it finally pulled me in, and after that I was hooked. I found myself fully rooting for the FL and waiting for her to take everyone down.
I also really liked that the romance was more of a slow burn, because if they had rushed it, it probably would’ve come off as cringey. It felt more natural this way, especially since both leads had their own goals.
The only thing that didn’t sit right with me was the second FL’s ending. Her death felt way too easy for someone who kept plotting until the very end. If they were going to give her a sad backstory, I wish they had gone a bit further and shown her actually feeling some remorse or regret for everything she had done.
But overall, I’m really glad the FL got her happy ending, because I was definitely ready to drop my rating if she didn’t.
I enjoyed the FL's character; she was very smart. At first, the FL seemed like a weak person, but once the story progress, she leveled up so quick lol.
My main beef of the story was I didn't understand how, why, and when the ML fell for the FL? These questions kept popping up at the back of my mind. Also, I wish the FL had told the ML about their past instead of just keeping it to herself, which meant she clearly hasn't let the past go so she had a dream/nightmare about it.
Oh my! My favorite part of this whole drama was when sick ML finds out that FL had schemed against the annoying fiance girl because of him. You'd think the ML was going to start lecturing the FL, but nope he does the exact opposite and takes the blame for her behaving like that. Like props boy, you're the first to admit that you not giving her a sense of security will cause her to take actions into her own hands.

Keep going if you can handle deaths.
