LKY is really pretty in here! The prettiest I've seen her. I like this type of makeup and simple hairstyle on her in comparison to her newer 2025 look where her new style of makeup makes her look way older.
The leads look visually great with eachother but I wasn't feeling their chemistry. Plus, this type of storyline might not be my cup of tea so I dropped it.
I really wanted to like this, but it's an OK drama. I felt like it kind of fizzled out towards the end. The leads didn't really have chemistry with eachother besides the part where they were playing siblings.
LKY was really beautiful in here. One of her earliest work where I discovered her with my fave CTX. I still think this is one of her best acting role with the way how she switches to pitiful, cunning, and foxy. It'd be nice to have her and CTX collab again.
This one was well liked so I had high expectations, but it's okay to me. it's those typical dramas where ML gotta have FL (although you do get a childhood trope backstory), and does things against her wishes. I still don't know how the FL fell for the ML or how the ending ended it the way it did.
Don't let this handsome face fool you. ML's character is a jer*. I've seen worst, but he was near that tier too. Honestly, in the second half of the drama, you realize why he's so devoted to the 2nd FL. The drama should have shown this to us at the beginning so we wouldn't have disliked the ML so much. Also, hated how he was beck and call with the 2nd FL sighs.

I would have added more eps at the beginning to show how Xiaoke took care of the ML and nursed him back to health. And, show how the leads got close and how ML gradually falls for Xiaoke before going back for his revenge. They were with eachother for 8 years. 8 full years. Then, you go into the events at the drama's beginning on how Xiaoke finds the ML again while he's doing his revenge. Also, they should have went more into depth about why Xiaoke's blood has that special component to heal faster.
This could easily be a 3+ hr vertical dramas which was fine to tell a full good story versus the short 2 hr duration that this drama had.
I could not stand their makeup although YGY looked hot as always and he can play these role so good, but I had to drop it. Storyline was kind of everywhere and I'm not fond of the FL too.
If you're into slice of life with romance then this one's for you. Unfortunately, for me I'm not into slice of life but I appreciate the writer for creating this beautiful story. The plot twist at the end was quite shocking and sad to know that, that actually happened to our ML because you wouldn't expect it.
YGY did really well in here, best imo out of all his roles I've seen so far (although not my favorite role from him). His acting was very natural and I love how naturally handsome the team let him be in this drama. Although, I did notice that he got skinnier 😥.

This is also one of YGY's rare character where he's really gentle and sweet towards the FL. The leads had tons of chemistry and sexual tension. I wish we got more lol.
