I've never seen that drama before, but she's really beautiful in there in comparison to all her other dramas I've seen. The makeup artist and hairstylist knew how to cater to her facial features, and even her clothes are nice for an older drama.

LSS fits Ruyi like 100%. I don't think anyone else would have played Ruyi to perfection like LSS from showing intensity, anger, sadness emotion range to her clean sword and dancing technique. She made Ruyi hers. If you want to see her cute and vulnerable then the only time her guard really drop is on ep 23 and ep 24. She was a bit softer there because her character called for it.

Ep 31 and 32 were soooo good! I was on the edge of my seat for Ruyi and NYZ kicking arse. I was even shouting for the scarlet guards to be like, "GOOOO, be freee!!!". I really like the actor for commander Deng hui, he has like this presence about him. And, looks like we're heading towards the sad arc now, all the sad songs be popping up now even for the previews.
