may be a little controversial, but I dont think the FL was needed for this drama. perhaps as a supportive role, but I dont think her story/acting added much as an adult... plus the chemistry was nil, so it made it hard to care
the main family dynamic was much more interesting imo
Overall, it’s good, but the fact that almost every Kdrama main couple has a “childhood story” together is…
these are just typical kdrama troups... I did roll my eyes when the childhood story appeared but I half expect it now.
I did research this recently and apparently the concept of fated love 'inyeon / 인연' is very important in romantic relationships. so love usually isn't about finding someone new, it's about 'returning'/'remembering', like a full circle moment.
This is where I think - im assuming here - that as foreign viewers, we may not always be aware of a cultural significance in the story telling. so its best to just take it as it is... or learn more about it for better understanding
Started off strong but I lost interest towards the end. I wish they focused more on the younger years - there…
the romantic reunion was also very anticlimactic... considering how traumatic the breakup was, surely there should've been more time spent on mending that misunderstanding and the renewed feelings. they gave us a 1-min scene with a few lines drowned out by the ost... and then went straight back into the overly immature dynamic. disappointing
Started off strong but I lost interest towards the end. I wish they focused more on the younger years - there was way more depth and story there. The younger cast were amazing, but the adult characters just didn't have much chemistry and came off a bit childish at times.
The drama felt kinda confused between being a melodrama or an over-the-top comedy, and it just didn't blend well. The side stories were also meh... pure filler.
Overall, an okay one-time watch if you're in between dramas, but nothing more. Had potential, just poorly executed.
first few epsidoes were really interesting... but im on episode 9 now and struggling to get through it... its become a filler drama for me. I dont see the appeal
i almost didn't watch this because of the rating! its a great show. if you're on the fence, i say give it a try and also dont read too many comments! :)
i didn't like this format for this story... it just felt rushed. i think it would have worked best as a movie or a full blown series to give the story more depth. its good, but definitely could have been better
the main family dynamic was much more interesting imo
there have been other covers, but this is the original :)

I really enjoyed it and suggest giving it a chance
