Uneven
I was enjoying this for the most part. Pretty people, pretty sets, pretty costumes. Not too much violence. Decent acting.
Then, of course, we have the jealous ex, who turns into a psychopath and kidnaps the FL. That's just the worst of the tropes. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find a good Chinese drama as they seem to rely heavily on overused stereotypes and storylines.
