I loved his movie the king's case note. It was one of my favourite, especially his character in the movie. He was so funny and quirky. I watch this movie atleast once a year. It is never going to be the same next year.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a family drama so in the middle the story becomes slightly dragging and bit more melodramatic for few episodes but picks up after again.
I see most of them praising the drama for satisfying ending. But I can't agree with those. Even though the ending was good, when thinking back most of the baddies remained alive. Jung sun oh is still alive, the main gang leader who killed the kid is still alive and roaming free. The guy who killed that prosecutor is still alive (even though he was shot in the hand by the female lead). I'm not saying the ending was not good. But it didn't satisfy me fully. I hope there is a 2nd season.
Since I binge watched the drama I skipped lot of scenes. Even though I did enjoy the drama. It was really weird seeing ghosts do all sort of things. But anyway for me it was good enough.
I haven't read the novel but did read the webtoon. The ending of webtoon was great but here they ruined pretty much everything because of one bad ending..
This was a solid one until episode 6. But from episode 7 onwards it went downhill. The first half of the show is well done with a well structured screenplay that raises various questions like how the time travel works, who exactly is the ghost and what is her backstory but the writers fail miserably in answering those questions in the second half. The writers themselves are not sure about how to continue the story it seems. The second half of the drama seems very forced and the twists are seem to be created just for the sake of it. In short this drama is a mess

Ha ha... Exactly.. and the moment when the newbie just repeated what the assistant inspector said after thinking for a long time.. and the reaction of the assistant inspector was a laugh riot.. Infact I'm more interested in a spinoff with these two as the leads...
A good watch.. It's not outstanding but it's really worth watching. There were moments it felt cliche. There was also an obvious change in the storyline. It was easy to predict the villain. Don't know if it was intentional. But at the end of the day it was a good show and I enjoyed it. The only thing that bothers me is the climax. Could have better. Looking for season 2. More than the bromance of the main lead, the bromance of the assistant inspectors was fun. Could've added more scenes for them
8.3 seriously... This drama deserves at the least a rating of 8.5. I can't believe a drama like Vincenzo has a rating of 9.0 where a gem like this has only 8.3. The establishment of every character is good..this one was a great ride from the start to the end... The best part of this drama is action scenes... From the way every character handles the gun..it's a delight to watch the action scenes.. I hoped for some more action sequences...the only part that bothered me in this whole drama is the Female lead (ML's partner) acting. I mean it's like watching same reaction throughout the series. Her acting was very plain and distracting...other than that this drama is a gem..And finally Namkoong min...No words.. This guy is amazing in all the roles I've seen him. I've watched all of his drama from "the girl who sees the scent" to this one and he never disappoints... Well maybe except for "the undateables".
I really want to like this drama but the final episode changed everything. I mean if you're going to kill all the characters why make us go through 15 episodes of giving hope that the hero is planning something big master plan against the villains. That's just very poor writing. Especially sun ha character committing suicide. That just took 180 degree turn. I mean she is a type of character that'll try to stay alive by any means necessary even during the end of earth but she commits suicide for no reason. I don't know what writers were thinking after setting up a powerful character only to ruin in the end. The twist making the professor one of sun ha's men.. I mean it's like writers want to make Kang yo han a good guy so they make a good guy into a bad one. I mean come on.. Why......? Kang you han is a bad guy.. If you had the guts to set up an interesting anti hero type of character why Change the course in the end.. To make the viewers sympathize with him...? And they left a lot of characters without any end which was somewhat disappointing. There were lot of plothole which can forgiven but anyone who finished the series can tell that they rushed the final episode which had a great negative impact on whole series. Acting wise everyone did their job best. Even though I can see a lot of people hating the lady cop character I think it was her role written in that way but the actor did good according to me. My personal opinion is instead of rushing the drama in one final episode I hope the judge could've made a comeback and destroyed the villains one by one. I mean not by killing them but by taking what's most important to them.. And I thought it was going to go like that till the 15th episode but only to be disappointed in the end. It could've been a solid 9 but the final episode ruined everything so only 8. (Note: I do recommend Money flower for a good revenge drama where the ML brings down every one of the villains methodically. And what's more it makes the drama good is that the writers don't sympathize the character till the end. It's like a devil taking down evil by destroying himself along the way...)
