Not too keen as well. For me the culprit is not acting but the screenplay. Character motivation isn’t presented…
Exactly. In SFD during Moohuyl and Ddang Sae fighting in the pre- climax we could literally feel the thrill not only because the fight was well made but also because the setup of bromance in the previous episodes were well made. Another drama with good bromance and rivalry is Warrior baek dong soo.
Agree.. They did not handle the issue well. Six Flying Dragons had same characters and was in the same era, I…
The character development of all the characters throughout the drama in SFD was extraordinary. And there was no sudden jump in timeline in SFD at least not frequently, so I was able to feel the changes in their internal conflicts and see the growth in their external conflicts of each of the characters. But here since the episodes are only 16, they are trying to crumble a lot of information into one episode, which at sometimes might distract the audience, as the writers are not focusing on the character development.
I don't know it's only for me or not but i think the writers are trying too hard to make this show more dramatic. 10 episodes aired but nothing much happened in the story. Each and every twist in the last 3 episodes didn't surprise me at all. The premise is very good but the screenplay is just mediocre. I don't know why but none of the death in the show affected me. The only character that got to me slightly was Sunho and the actor portraying does a fine job. Expected more from Jang Huyk but since after Money flower, his choices of selecting the dramas have been a complete disappointment. And I hate Hee Jae character. Everything she did in the story led only to chaos other than that there is no use for the character except slowing down the pace of the story frequently. And the actress portraying, does she really know how to act? Sorry if anyone find it too harsh but it's a fact. Hoping they improve in the remaining episodes.
Wow..what a ride...Great drama with good pace. Everything in it was good... I see here in various comments that many of them appreciating the female lead. Her character was good. But for me Han Je Kook stole the entire show. Wow...what a character... At one point everyone in the drama teams up against her yet still she handles them all like a pro. For me she was the second most brilliant, toughest and tactical character in the entire k drama history I've witnessed, who maintained their characterization throughout the entire drama. (1st being Jang Huyk's Kang Pil Joo in Money flower). P.S - The only thing that felt odd was the last few minutes. What the heck was that?
Hardison was a genius, Eliot was really a bad ass, Parker was unique, Sophie was smart and Nathan was a great master mind in the Original. But in this all the characters are flat. And that too the comedy didn't work for me. May be if i have't seen the original i might have liked it. But still i find it too similar to the show, player. A big disappointment
why why why Jang Hyuk has started to act in second lead role, he is so perfect to be the leading man of the drama.…
Okay. He is not the second male lead in this drama. He is the main antagonist of this drama. More like Anti-hero. His role is more powerful than rest of all the leads, in both character wise and story wise.
no.. this drama has no love triangle ..has 2 couples ..
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon You Who Came from the Stars Eulachacha Waikiki Pinocchio Fated to Love You The main plot of these dramas not about the triangle. But there is some love triangle with cute moments and nothing heavy. Watch these and if you like these i'll suggest you more.
