I think their lack of communication took part in haein’s change in behavior. She was excited, happy and all…
Whoa… I don’t remember mentioning let alone comparing the grief of the two?? No, cause that is so true and that is point blank period the unimaginable pain a mother who’s dealing with the death of a child (in this case, through miscarriage) is something that can never be and should never be compared to the man’s suffering. The physical & emotional damage, the grief, anxiety, depression, guilt and anger, not to mention the things that happen to the woman’s body.
That’s why I said hyunwoo failed to understand her knowing damn well what happened to his wife. That's why I said (let me try to reword this one) they lost their child, but they did not lose each other, they still have each other. Like come onn he could’ve offered her his shoulder to lean on, to cry on, his ear to hear her crying, or whatever.
Haein has issue with expressing her care openly, and I see one of hyunwoo’s biggest issues is perception. He honestly seems so slow and can’t really read between the lines, regardless whether it’s haein’s emotions or his own. And I find it easier to relate to haein because she’s more aware of things. Hyunwoo is just wallowing so much in self-pity that he fails to recognize haein’s efforts and struggles.
You know what, this couple needs to communicate better and step up their game honestly :) cause we witnessed what happened in the last few episodes, they swoon over each other when the wordss, the emotionsss are delivered and still HITTT.

They both lost a child but not each other. They were supposed to face grief and pain together, they’re always clueless about each other’s feelings. Like you said, she always trying to be strong and act like everything is okay but deep inside it’s the other way around. And on the other hand, hyunwoo failed to understand her.
I see haein as someone who is clouded with pride and grief. She acted tough, made herself so busy, so tense, always on guard (maybe signs of her post traumatic experience). This might also came from her background that she grew up in a cutthroat business environment (plus coming from that family) where she felt the need to be cold & nonchalant, doesn’t really show what’s going on with her cause there’s people who want her position and could possibly see it as a “chance” to take over or get rid of her.
I like the drama a lot, but I have a problem with the FL. ML is somehow consistent but FL mostly behaves like…
I think their lack of communication took part in haein’s change in behavior. She was excited, happy and all about the child. But after losing it she turned cold & detached maybe out of self preservation but if he knows haein, he should’ve known better that this is her coping mechanism. It could stem from her past experience, deep emotional scar due to her other brother’s loss and her mom blaming her for his death yet she kept it to herself and endured all the trauma. Also, I think hyunwoo did isolate her (and distanced himself too) rather than be sad together and comforted her. She never asked to be alone but yet she was left alone.
I cannot wait for the day they discover the hidden camera behind the painting that eunseong gave to grandpa. I’m gonna be clenching my cheeks til I see the downfall of orphanage squad (I know it’s too early to say this lol) y’all stay sane.
Anw, who else picked up the my liberation notes reference in the subway sunset scene? That was beautiful 🥹
Rooting for Boo Hye Ryung. I love her energy so much. They deserve all that beating. Also, wtf are these people trying to paint the ones who got cheated on as the villains is actually insanely disgusting like please seek intense therapy!
