My thoughts after watching Episode #5 -Now that FL knows about the murders I wonder why she doesn't think that…
For me why FL didn't think it was a murder because of two possibilities, first maybe FL hates her dad so much that she thought her mom's suicide because of the absent husband. Second, she's a housewife and she thought her mom doesn't have any enemies.
I agreed on second and third point, it's not her dad who killed. I read comment on here that it could be his brother's cap and he borrowed it. Maybe, his brother is the real killer. It makes sense tho, after watching 5th episode i thought it could be another murderer: first done by male and second done by female with the same target which is women. But why? We haven't known the motive yet.
For the third point, if Mi Sook is really the killer, she's so young for doing it alone. Male Lead also said that the killer isn't clumsy to leave any traces. Therefore I also thought that the girl who teared up the paper and took Mi Sook's side is a lesbian and willing to do anything for Mi Sook. IMO, she could be Mi Sook's accomplice in killing people.
This is slice of life drama. Tbh, i watched this just to see Yeon Been. It turned out her life story related to me so much. Her role as Eun Jung who suffered from depression after her bf died led to her best friends lived with her for 2 years. And after two years lived only "go with the flow", in episode 13 if i'm not mistaken, she apologized and realized that she had been absent whereas her besties had been there for her all along.
I suffered from depression two years ago and when i'm mentally healthy right now, i wondered, where had i been the past two years? What did i do? Did i just waste my time? Then, i started to open up, reconnect with old friends and do the things i always love.
Therefore, whoever suffer from depression, remember that it's okay to slow down and take your time. Don't regret anything once you feel like yourself again.
Wow chill, folks. Why some of the commenters here think that Dr. Cha will stay with his cheating husband instead of divorcing him? We're still in episode 10.
To those who said, "she is better with Roy Kim." or, "why she treated Roy Kim like trash?"
First, well, in marriage, cheating husband is different compared to cheating boyfriend, okay. In marriage, there are so much feelings and consideration involve once you find your spouse cheating. Whether to stay or divorce, both are valid.
Second, move on is not easy after divorce, for loser yeah it might be, but not for winner. Saying she's better with Roy Kim is so childish. I listened to a podcast about starting a new relationship after divorce for women, it's hard they said. That's why if you watch the World of Married and VIP, both divorced and that's all. The writer doesn't just "write" script, I believe, it's also reflection of our society nowadays.
Love the story line especially the moment Yoon Young was familiar with that event and it turned out to be from Ko Min Sook's book. This is new kind of story, kuddos to the writernim.
I think, in 1987 Go Mi Sook's bro is not the murderer, he is just ordered by her to 'hunt' a girl so that she can kill the victim? Or.. it can be her mother who is the killer?? If that theory is true.. It's too soon for us to find out.
I read the comment on here that Go Mi Sook seems suspicious and she could be a time traveler, as well. For me, what if the time traveler is Yoon Young's dad? Considering he's always absent when she grew up. Well, that's more interesting tho. However, if he's the time traveler, he wouldn't let his wife died. Either way, can't wai for the next week's episode.
I think, Yoon Young won't stop her mother and father to get married. Instead, she'll find answers why her mom's writing being used by Mi Sook and how his dad was absent when she grew up.
Whoaa i have bad feeling that Soon Ae was raped by Mi Sook's bro in 1987? Is that why Mi Sook blackmailing her? Beside that, Hae Joon and Yoon Young mission is the same, to start from that high school in order to find the killer.
I love how everything is disclosed. In reality, most of cheating spouses got caught through their social media, that scene successfully depicted it in a hurtful way.
No hate for Seung Hee's daughter decision because if you were in her shoes, you wanted to destroy In Ho's family as well. She only wanted to protect her mom.
Still, the people who should be hated in this is Seo In Ho and Sung Hee. These grown-ups are not grown-ups at all.
Nice move from Jung Min by giving his dad an ultimatum to protect his mom. Also Irang's reaction when punched his dad with pillow 🤣
Look forward to the rest of the episodes, i wonder how the other doctors' and residents' reaction when everything is finally unfolded.
Sung Hee was so disgusting when she told her daughter, "actually, i'm the first." and i like the daughter's answer, "if you're the first, why you live like this?" ouchhh she got a point.
Some of the commenter below felt so irritating after watching last night's episode that Dr. Cha is the only one left clueless of the affair. However, i like it that way because the drama isn't about revealing an affair like the World of the Married. It's all about Dr. Cha who makes a comeback by pursuing her dream in that age. So.. chill everyone and enjoy the ride.
This season gonna have so much 'drama' compare to the other two seasons, still love it tho. I guess, our patience will be tested by EunJae's dad and... Jang Dong Hwa hahaha dr. Jang is so funny, curious whether his character will be more developed or not.
Whoaaa i love the first two episodes. The last time i watched crime time travel drama was Life on Mars. So many puzzles Yoon Hae Joon and Baek Yoon Young should put together. Look forward to the next episodes.
Well, how the script writer depicts Dr. Seung Hee and Dr. Seo for having no shame, that's the truth and it happens to the people around me. Cheaters will never divorce their spouses, mistress will never show remorse.
In my mid twenties, i thought that kind of drama was exaggerated. But now i'm in my early 30, that cheating and mistress culture happening around me, and the drama is not exaggerated. Even my friend (idk whether i still consider her as a friend) has been a mistress for almost 5 years, the guy wanted to dump her but she keeps on begging and wish the guy's marriage ends.
So yeah, i think our blood will boil 'till the end of this drama. Moreover, there are children involve in this complicated situation.
At first i doubt to continue watching this, too many toxic people around Doctor Cha except her mom and Dr Roy Kim. However, ending of episode 5 cracked me up especially when Doctor Cha received recognition from the hospital director. Besides that, the preview of 6th episode is getting more interesting.
Anyway, Dr. Sung Hee's teen daughter is also Dr Seo's daughter? WOW. How come she can be a mistress for years? Can't wait until everything being revealed.
I can't watch this drama after the first three episodes. Actually since the first 2 episodes i don't like it. Idk whether the acting of Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara are bad or the director that makes the drama even worse?
On the first episode, while driving Do Hoon got a call from his dad but he kept his eyes on the phone all the time, dude you're driving and acting at the same time, make it like real life event, please. And he repeated in the third episode, while driving, he kept on his eyes to his daughter who was sitting on the passenger seat.
3rd episode there was lips kissing done by kids, you gotta be kidding me? If the drama from Disney and Netflix there will be either nudity, or anything close to inappropriate scenes. Agreed with other commenters, they focused more on side story rather than the spy life itself. Ep.3 is about MinSeo performance at school rather than 'spy'
Whoaa i'm two years late, i know. But i'm glad finally watching this kdrama. It's a bit draggy, but not that boring like others have said.
Yeo Been definitely a breath of fresh air actress. When i watched CLOY, i wonder if there's actress who is gonna be as great as Son Ye Jin, i think Yeo Been is.
Watched a lot of their behind the scenes, Yeo Been personality resembles Cha Young so much: drama queen, hyperbole, cute, witty and friendly. Eventho people commented bad about her being exaggerated as Cha Yong. Well, those who said so, i'm sure they are boring :p
I never liked the idea of SJK married to SHK tbh, simply because i didn't see they had chemistry on the Descendant of the Sun, in which people raved about. But in this drama SJK and Yeo Been's chemistry was undeniable.
I know people be like 'i'm team SHK.' But seeing how painful the divorce for SJK, it also breaks my heart. In Interview with Yeon Been, SJK asked her, "when you know i'm the male lead, you still want to accept this offer?"
Then Yeon Been confidently answered, "of course, it's like i'm winning a lottery."
Netizens are easily believing rumors and gossips nowadays. I had no idea that SJK was that affected by the rumor because imho, it was like, he was afraid that Yeo Been's image would be bad after being paired with him.
It turns out, her IG followers hit 1M. I believe, it's all because of her role and personality both on Vincenzo and real life.
Can't wait for more drama from Yeo Been. Also SJK, fighting!!
TBH, I never watched Hae In drama because he was always paired with noona (I prefer seeing male lead with younger FL). To my surprise, his acting was great.
As for Ji Soo, IMO, her acting was typical newbie acting: a lot of lips biting after she conversed, frown forehead and head shaking too much when confused and scared.
For the story itself, a bit disappointing. I thought the writer would have developed Soo Ho and Young Ro school life and relationship at least 4-6 episodes. Not only that, i wanted to see the dynamic of Soo Ho disguised as student in South Korea, while had to obey his boss in North. This drama was too straight forward in the beginning and draggy in the middle. Moreover Boon Ok really got into my nerves. hahaha
TBH, this is so boring. I heard in Korea the rating is low because there is similar drama which was Our Blues. I loooove Our Blues so much, the stories have what My Liberation Notes doesn't have: climax, emotions and plot twist. Here are the reasons why MLN is not as strong as Our Blues:
1. I waited the reason behind why Mr. Gu was in countryside, but the explanation of it was only a scene at cafe where he talked to Baek (or something i forgot the name), that Mr. Gu made a woman did suicide. I wish they showed the woman and where it took place. 2. Mr. Gu left the countryside wasn't climax for me. 3. The side stories like Yeom Mi Jung's bro and sis are not strong and entertaining enough, i literally skipped their parts. Even i hate her bro, how come he is so weak and immature? 4. What i consider climax was only when Mr. Gu's found out that Mi Jung's mom has died. I was also shocked and sad. 5. People in the drama literally hold their feelings back. I know there are some parts they show anger, but not enough. OMG it's so frustrating for me. I can't relate.
Really? If anything I find she is under expressing. She has the same dazed look all the time. I can never tell…
omg agree. I'm now on second episode and i already felt it. Even at court on episode 2, when she's angry, it didn't look like one, she didn't want to open her mouth wide enough. Maybe because of her botox? Moreover, it's been awhile since her last dramas and movie, tho.
Wow i'm three years late. Itaewon Class fully focused on revenge even until finished i never seen Park Sae Royi's home hahaha just kidding. Okay on serious note, the mastermind behind all the revenge is actually Lee Ho Jin and the smartest in terms of management and strategist for the pub is Jo Yi Seo. And that gave me Start Up drama's feeling, rookie Seo Dal Mi and Nam Do San in tech world, while the mastermind throughout that start up thing was Han Ji Pyung.
My expectations when she was released from prison were she visits his dad's cemetery, go through the documents his dad left regarding the murder she never committed, planned the revenge, then try to find her daughter.
But, what i watched in the first 3 episodes, the writer made EunSoo visit her daughter as she got released, being a stalker resulted in some misunderstanding, never change her clothes (always parka, black jeans, boots), never sleep, etc. I also don't like the coincidences where Eun Soo always met Ji Min.
The good sides of this drama, i love when JiMin rejected Eun Soo because he wasn't ready, supportive grandparents and auntie for Woo Joo.
As for the ending, EunSoo get surgery totally in the last few minutes before 16th episode ends. I was like, writer nim where is your mercy? I wish to see at least this family spend time together during Spring (because that was the story bragged about throughout the first half of episodes) but they made this family met in cemetery.
I agreed on second and third point, it's not her dad who killed. I read comment on here that it could be his brother's cap and he borrowed it. Maybe, his brother is the real killer. I really high hopes in this drama right before it was aired. Now i continue watching each episode only wanna know how it ends.
No wow factor so far. It's quite predictable.
I think, in 1987 Go Mi Sook's bro is not the murderer, he is just ordered by her to 'hunt' a girl so that she can kill the victim? Or.. it can be her mother who is the killer?? If that theory is true.. It's too soon for us to find out.

Anyway, i guess this season will have so much tension, the story will revolve around Eun Jae's appa who seems hate Doldam Hospital and its people.
Anyway, Dr. Sung Hee's teen daughter is also Dr Seo's daughter? WOW. How come she can be a mistress for years? Can't wait until everything being revealed.

To top it off, it's a 7.8/10 for me.
