I am glad that the parental matter has been solved quite fast..I think one of the good things in the drama is they resolve the problem not too long only one or two episodes so they do not dragging the story much
I also like that they separate Mu Yun and MTC's love, so Ming Wei can open a new chapter and love the real person for the rest of her life
But I should complain of the styling for Xu Lin, with her hair style or clothing style, sometimes she looks in the same age with her Gege or MTC...or even suitable to be Xiao Zhou's Jie Jie

I agree with your thought.. the drama is very enjoyable and exceed my expectation. Actually same with many of you, I come to watch it because I like Jeremy in Autumn Ballads. But the drama is so good..They pay attention to many details and the acting is decent too..And I think based on my watching until 7 episode, the story is also quite make sense..The writer also puts some efforts to make the good lines and details.

Before watching drama, usually I pay attention to female lead characters.. So many quite "annoying" or "extra cute" characters that are not my cup of tea and that makes me drop the drama.
But here, the female lead character is just feel right..the acting is natural, not many shouting or screaming and not exaggerated
And I like the drama story that combine both classic and modern setting
In this drama, they make the transition very smooth..I like that the production also pay quite a lot attention to the execution of the classic scenes.. The costumes quality is good, the OST is good and they involve quite many supporting people, for example as soldiers or servants even for short time scenes.

Actually I like the type of story, where someone from lower class successfully climbing to the higher place..I like Lee See Young too. Even though sometimes her acting is stiff, but I still like her..
I also like that the lighting and the prop of the production is of good quality..with many attention of the detail.. However, the pool scene is quite unrealistic, and not too funny either..so I don't know why the director chooses to film the scene that way...

for me, I prefer historical c drama compare to modern one..But because Prince Nanchen and Shiyi story, I definitely will watch this drama
