Are kpop artists finally allowed to date or it's just the female artists?
You can look at her fellow member Jennie and get your answer. Regrettably, dating remains "scandalous", particularly when male idols are involved. This mostly stems from them enabling parasocial relationships with fans who end up perceiving them as attainable. This unhealthy mentality often leads to the toxic "if I can't have you, no one can" dynamic, detrimental to everyone involved. This is why the usual target of attacks tends to be the female partners. The only reason this situation isn't attracting such negativity is because she's involved with an actor (and her status as an A-lister - mentioning this because negative reactions might have surfaced if she were a lesser-known idol dating an A-list actor, given the common perception of idols as inferior in Korea)
So...maybe it's just me and I didn't catch it but ...why was DJ killed in the original timeline? Without HW's knowledge of the future I wouldn't think he'd be considered that much of a threat? Is it all a loop or what?
in my opinion, you should watch the rest. Even though it's sad, it was fun. We see how each of them grow as a…
Yup, after some serious consideration hahah I've decided to drop this. Already know how it ends and I don't like it, I see no point in forcing myself to watch it lol

No, I would not have a problem with a "sad" ending as it was hinted throughout the drama that they would likely not be end-game. My issue is with the way they executed the whole thing. Dunno if it's worth wasting 3 hours only to be disappointed. I already am after reading the spoilers lol.
After reading all these spoilers I cannot decide if I want to watch the last 3 episodes or not...I get that first love does not always work out but I feel like they could have went about it differently if this is what they wanted to portray. From what I've been reading this is just a poorly executed "realistic" ending - it does not give a proper closure to Yijin & HeeDo and subsequently not to the viewer. It's a shame really, cause I really enjoyed the 13 episodes I have seen so far :/
Costs more money I assume so they wanted to make sure it was well received?
Makes sense yeah..I was thinking more from the perspective of a fan of the actors since the majority would have already watched it on different websites already by the time they release it officially.
Looks like Snowdrop will be available on Disney+ France and Sweden in February. I really don't understand why they didn't make it available worldwide from the very beginning...
Tbh I would not mind a time skip as long as they end up together in the end. A time skip, if executed well, could give their characters more depth, allowing them to mature and grow independently so that in the end when they eventually find their way back to each other they are at their best possible stage in life, mature and financially and emotionally stable (and preferably away from their annoying parents lol)
Just a question purely out of curiosity - What is it about two men getting it on that women find so appealing…
I have not yet consumed much BL media but Iām still gonna throw my 2 cents on this. What Iāve noticed, at least for me, the appeal of bl relationship is in part because it can be perceived as a temporary escape from the typical gender norms prevalent in society which subsequently bleed into m/f shows. To be honest, thereās something very endearing about seeing males portrayed as vulnerable, capable of crying and showing/receiving affection. I think thatās also one of the reasons why bromance (strong friendship between 2 guys) is also a popular trope in heterosexual media as well as it portrays a relationship which doesnāt endorse the typical ātoxic masculinityā.
Even though I put ITSAY and BBS on top there are some BLs I will recommend. The ones I liked:From Korea - To my…
Yess, Iāve actually read the synopsis for "Heās coming to me" as I was looking through Ohmās previous works but the whole premise of a ghost love story sounded to me like the show is bound to have a sad ending so Iāve been a bit reluctant to watch it ;;
I personally haven't watched ITSAY but I personally think Bad Buddy is the creme de la creme, there might be other…
Hmm, I like both dramas for totally different reasons. ITSAYās cinematography and story telling was out of this world and I know Teh wasnāt a fanās favourite but I personally found him and his struggles to realize and finally acknowledge and accept who he is endearing and realistic. That being said, I realize Billkinās portrayal of Teh couldāve been better (also, I have avoided and will continue avoiding IPYTM like the plague lmao I refuse to watch it) On the other hand, in Bad Buddy the chemistry between the leads is the selling point of the drama imho. They just feel right, like they belong together. I also feel like the development of their relationship from āenemiesā to friends to lovers was done splendidly and is very realistic. Ohm and Nanon are extraordinary actors and I wish we could see them again in future shows.
I feel like Iāve delved into the BL genre with the worst possible dramas, ITSAY and Bad Buddy. Iām saying this cause I think nothing can compare with these two at the moment and anything else would just not hit the same; so if you have any recommendations please throw them my way š
No cause why is comrade Joo always running around screaming and beating people up yet Eung Cheol is the one facing near-death experiences every other day šš
I'm scared that the drama will fail to become a good rated drama in korea
I wouldnāt worry about that, itās doing well on Disney+ and the viewership ratings in SK arenāt that atrocious (especially compared to JTBCās latest dramas - for example the ratings for The one and only have been at 0% for the past 4 episodes). Taking into consideration the controversy, itās doing better than I expected actually :)))
