I don't know whether I'm able to watch 'Winter Sonata' coz the genre isn't my cup of tea, and I don't think even with Take-chan in it would I be able to scrape through all the episodes. >.<

Most of the Japanese movies which are heartwarming always involve an animal of some kind (really!) so I didn't pay much attention to it. But I think you can try watching 'Hinokio'. It's somewhat like Pinocchio but in a more futuristic way. I watched it years and years ago so I can't exactly remember everything about the story.

Gosh, I think I really need to watch 'Tonbi' already, since there are so many recs for it! By the way, Take-chan also stars in the Japanese version of 'Winter Sonata', but it seems that nobody knows it. Not even one person mentioned about that drama... Is it because the drama is too slow? I personally haven't watched it yet either.

If you're put off by watching slow dramas, then I wouldn't exactly recommend 'Q10' to you. But different people have different ways of viewing it so what might appear slow to me, doesn't apply to someone else.

I've always been a fan of 'Rurouni Kenshin' (aka 'Samurai X') since I was in high school coz I really love the anime. But I've forgotten all about it! :( Period dramas/ movies have always been my favourite genre to watch, besides high school.

I'm currently following 'Kazoku Game' and I thought of finishing up the last season of 'Gokusen' before clearing away my on hold list. How about you?

Thank you for the friend request! :) By the way, didja know that Oguri Shun and Miura Haruma are voice-casted for the upcoming CG movie 'Captain Harlock'? JFYI since you're a fan of Shun. :)

Oh no, I'm not a nurse! I'm one of those customer service assistants who help patients in their hospital bills and giving them financial counselling and such. In short, I'm those staffers who sits at the front counter in the wards. I'm not too sure how hospitals work in other countries...

I hope you won't lose interest in 'Q10'!

Because I am bias towards Japanese actors, I have to say that Sawada Shin make me have a crush on Matsujun (when I actually have no interest in him AT ALL), while Fujimaru steals all the limelight from Otoya. But I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the bromance between the both of them. <3

I recently started working as a Patient Services Assistant at one of the hospitals here in Singapore and omg, there's just TOO much training/studying to be done! :O It's a tough job and I have to remember a thousand and one things. I start at 8.30 in the morning and finish at 4.30 in the afternoon, hence that's why I'm always so sleepy and tired once I got back from work. >.<

'Q10' is a lovely drama, but it can get really, really slow at certain parts, so I wouldn't recommend you to watch all in one sitting. Nonetheless, watch it till the end and you'll discover a whole lot of things and maybe shed a tear or two. It's really sweet, but I'm conflicted because I love this drama and yet dislike it at the same time. I can't figure out why till now. And I've watched this in March.

I'll try my best this coming weekend! I'll include the 'Yamato Nadeshiko' book as well coz there's Kame-chan included! ;D

Hihi! Sorry it took me a few days to reply coz I was busy! Nonetheless, here's the link to Takeru's 'Romeo and Juliet' butai:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8DUCcMSpoU

It's around two and a half hours long and I have to admit, I can't bear to watch it coz of the six kissing scenes. And the bed scene. And the taking off shirt scene.

I should stop now. But enjoy nonetheless. :D

I recently starting adoring him ^^ But I first saw him in Mei-Chan no Shitsuji, and fell in love with his character…
I couldn't stand his hair in 'ROOKIES' at first, but I grew to love it while watching the drama. I think I'm happy with the majority of hairstyles he had attempted, but there's only ONE hairstyle which I think I could never accept it: THE PERM. Us Takeru fans named that "The Sheep Hair" coz well, it does look like a sheep, lol!

the first time i saw him was princess princess d. It was so bad i could barely complete the first episode. Then…
I realise that a lot of viewers couldn't recognise Takeru from one drama to another. I think it's because there's a change in his face. We see a fresh-faced Takeru in 'Princess Princess D'. All young and boyish. Now, he looks more matured and being the stalker that I am, I noticed that he'll have MAJOR eyebags if he's overworked himself.

I fell in love with Sato Takeru about the same time I fell in love with Miura Haruma by the drama Bloody Monday.…
Keep a lookout for his upcoming movie, 'REAL', somewhere in June and 'Kanojo Wa Uso Wo Aishisugiteru' (Kano Uso for short) by the end of the year. And 'Rurouni Kenshin' by next year, if I'm not mistaken. He's currently filming 'Kano Uso' at the moment. Take-chan's gonna be really busy till the end of this year, I think.

I scare myself sometimes at how much stalking I've done within the past few months or so, haha! Remember that I'm still new to his fandom!

I first saw him as a guest on Mr. Brain. He was only in one or two episodes, but his performance was memorable.
I have yet to watch 'Mr. Brain'. Waaahhhhh... :'(

wuah he really is cool. didn't know..whuaaa
Every cool guy has his baka side and Takeru is no exception. ;) You can see his baka-ness during the filming of his vacation in New York with Haruma. :D

Finished dramathoning Q10 and it was great! Loved the supporting characters as well. They added weight to the…
Don't forget to watch the three movies which are related to the show. The first movie is 'Kamen Rider: I'm Born!' and you gotta watch that in between episodes 27 and 28.

Oh wow, I didn't realise my 'Stalker's Guide' could be a hit with the users on MDL! :D I'm overjoyed! Thank you!

I personally haven't watched 'Tonbi' yet but there are many good reviews for it. Furthermore, the drama was nominated for the '16th Nikkan Sports Annual Drama Grand Prix'. Take-chan is in fourth place for the 'Best Supporting Actor' category while 'Tonbi' gets fifth place in the 'Best Drama Series' category. So both the drama & the actor are in top five.

If you're interested in watching Takeru's shows, I'd highly recommend 'Rurouni Kenshin' of course. But if you've already watched that, try watching 'Q10'. It's very heartfelt & the supporting characters add to the depth of the story. But try not to watch all nine episodes in one sitting as it can get really boring coz I feel that the drama is quite slow. I have mixed feelings about this drama & am really conflicted about it.

Yup, yup! Take-chan, Kame-chan and Haru-chan are all my favourites, although I have difficulty watching Haru-chan's dramas, lol! :D

ah...you forgot TONBI. for me is a real parenting guide. and i can forget BECK live action movie and his part…
Actually, I know of all the dramas you've mentioned. I didn't include 'Tonbi' and 'Mr Brain' coz I haven't watched those yet. I can't evaluate his acting if I haven't watch it yet. As for 'BECK', I feel that his character is very... Normal. He is overshadowed by Mizushima Hiro's 'Minami Ryusuke'. It's a shame though.

Not my type..saw him in a few series too..never got me interested but I'll watch Rurouni Kenshin and Kamen Rider…
I'm not too sure on what's the term used for baka-ness in Korean but since you've mentioned it, I think 'Kamen Rider Den-O' will not be a problem for you to watch. :D You'll see a very young Takeru. :)
