Exactlyyyy! I swear people think that sad and tragic = high art, which is true, but comedy has it's own beauty, and it's much more difficult to make people laugh than it is to make them cry!

One thing I really love is that the stepmother and stepsisters are not villains. The writers could have gone for that low hanging fruit but decided against it and the show is all the better for it, because we can focus on Jae Rim and Cha Min's dynamic developing organically without any outside forces working to throw them together.

I don't mind that the romance is not the focus of the story. The main plot is very interesting and reflects the current state of education in Korea, including how the system affects both educators and students, and how people like the hagwon directors try to capitalize on it. The FL is really convincing as an experienced tutor, and I really appreciate the classroom scenes which feel realistic. Love that we can finally see Wi Ha Joon romancing someone on screen, and so far he has me hooked.

I think what makes this drama is that every character has their own motivations. No one is a plot device or just existing to fulfill a trope. On top of that I can see some people saying that the romance is bland or whatever but in my opinion it's the complete opposite! The leads have sizzling chemistry together. Also the ost is so unique and eclectic- it adds an extra flavour to the scenes and makes the viewer more immersed in them.

I understand your doubts but I assure you he's really really good in this! His eye acting is insane!

Unfortunately viki doesn't have this in India so I can't watch it officially :(( Hopefully they'll begin airing it in a few days! Mingue and Bogyeol are both doing an amazing job! The way the priest speaks is so funny to me, poor guy is going through it pretending to be an idol. Hopefully Kim Dal being around will make it a little easier for him. Can't wait for the romance to start, can tell by that one flashback scene that the leads will have great chemistry. Also hope that we get some fun bonding moments between the Wild Animal boys!

Hope he's not the second lead, I really want him to be the ML
