I truly like this show but it feels like they keep repeating the same dialogue all over and over again, just using different words and setting, so everything feels kind of stuck in a way? š¤
The way I see it, they havenāt explained enough why Babe keeps Charlie around, lets him come and go as he pleases, and even lets Charlie sort of have the upper hand in a way. Heās a complete stranger and a stalkerish fan as far as we/he knows - why would Babe just trust his āallāā with this dude? Alright, he doesnāt smell nasty or whichever omegeverse-reason it might be, but then they should emphasize it more⦠show Babe smelling/sniffing him and liking that thereās no scent or something ludicrous like that, show him needing his moment of āconcentrationā and enjoying their s*x more than with his other partners. I dunno, give us something to drive the point down.
I get it that we need an excuse to keep the main leads interacting, especially with Charlieās shady double dealing, but right now I donāt see why Babe would want or need Charlie around. Whatās the point? Itās sort of an anticlimax, no heat, no banter. The guys are cute together and there is potential for chemistry but the way the story is being told is lackluster - in building their relationship at least. Donāt get me wrong, I like the premise of this series otherwise, so itās a little frustrating š„²
I have not read the manga; so⦠is Kouki the only one whoās able to see the Angel? And is he Koukiās school friend from that one little flashback we got some episode ago? š¤
I was not surprised by the behavior of most characters in the story, but Nick's actions caught me off guard. It…
I kind of interpreted it as Nick meant that Boston should remain single for now instead of pushing to be Nickās boyfriend since Boston was just trying to please Nick by trying to fit into the normative mold, and not that he should remain single forever. But thatās my subjective thoughts 𤷠obviously there are many things left unsaid and unexplored between them.
