I have a feeling that this show will be full of angsty misunderstands š«¢ much of the core problem has been resolved by episode 5 imho and I fear that itās only hurtful misunderstands and draggy obstacles leftā¦. Nevertheless, Iām impressed by Warās acting! The cinematography isnāt too bad either. A hidden gem for sure š
After reading your comment I could not take the opening scene seriously š¤”
Oh my god, Love Sick got me into the world of Thai BLs! Before that I watched some cringey Japanese movies from early 2005āsā¦
Your taste is immaculate ;) Iāve actually seen all shows that you mentioned. Loved ITSAY way more than IPYTM but still watched s2 religiously every week when it came out. I could not stand SOTUS. Haha are you my twin?

You address a very good issue, I wondered about this too when I started watching Thai BLs but since then came to the conclusion that this is sort of a part of the genre? Or maybe the culture even? Donāt want be offensive in any way since I think that every country has its own sense of style when it comes to acting, directing and storytelling (especially when targeting their own market), that might not always make sense for the āoutsidersā. I also think that BLs are targeted towards a younger audience, at least initially?
Nevertheless, they seem to mass produce these bland BLs shows as well as the BL actors, who are only meant to be shipped together. I was low key wondering recently why the same actors always have to be paired together⦠that in itself reduces their potential to grow and locks them in a preset box/role. At this rate itās like watching a fanfic of the very same ship again and again with every series that theyāre cast in together. Then again Iād say that itās the fandom that likely brings in the quick money, which brings us back into this constant loop feed.
But with that said, Iām still here⦠and what does that really say about me? *shrugs*

I did not make that far, the fake tears as he played the cello or whatever that instrument was made me pause and close the tab on my tablet. Weāll see if Iāll crawl back once thereās nothing else to watch.
It's obviously not a perfect series but to me this is by far the best BL series we have in years. Plotwise not…
Well⦠Korn certainly got what he wanted by bringing in Porsche, quite ingenious to appoint him as the head of the minor family when everyone and their mom knows that Porscheās loyal to Kinn - which will only unite/make the head familiar stronger. Porscheās mom is definitely sus.
Wow this show had way more fantasy elements than I expected ā¤ļø
A probably stupid question, but in the intro they talk about a woman sealing the demon in a painting then how come the show starts off with them trying to seal the demon with a ritual? Just curious why they changed the details of the backstory, or did I miss something?
can you elaborate on this more? because i love Ji Sung's drama too
Hmmm⦠Iād say itās the confident/devilish cheekiness that he has, being table to switch from joking to serious/sad in a realistic way, the adoring smize and also the unwavering chemistry with his co-star. Ji Sung is the king of chemistry imho and I l really really like him for his acting. I hope SWH will get more main roles, Iāll be for sure a stan then. Whatās your take on this? lol or am I jumping to conclusions?
āIs he dancing or what?ā
