I've watched it way back 2016 and it's on top of my re-watch list since then. π₯°π Actually, I have watched the c-drama first before I am able to read the novel. ;) At that time, English novel translation has been ongoing so the anticipation and excitement are on high! 8-) What I like on the c-drama plot is that they intertwined some characters and villains which are different from the novel. 8-) π€ Also the cinematography and songs were added up to spice the viewers. π Though the c-drama ending teased us on season 2 but that was still beyond the horizon for over 10yrs. Btw, the novel is also exciting. π₯°ππ The slow-burn romance between Ji Bai and Xu Xu from courting to intimacy, in-laws relationship, married life, etc. Those 74 chapters and short stories (I am counting differently!) kept me reading until the end. Thanks for the English translators that time! ππ₯°

This is in several versions (4-5) already. Charon version is mostly viewed. It's different plot from Zhenzhen and Kaimu film. I think I have watched 2nd version film from the link above ;)
