I don't know where you are from but your article was so well-written! I am impressed by how you actually knew the real story instead of just bullshitting us by saying that the drama stayed faithful to the truth because it didn't. I'm not really sure that I'll like the c-drama, the Turkish version itself was so modified that I'm sure that the Chinese version will be even "worse" which will completely change the story. I hope the Chinese directors and scenarists will do their research before writing the script. And yes it is true that the clothing was absolutely ridiculous, at that time even Christians and Jews didn't dress like that, it was inappropriate for a woman -as much as a man- to show skin. And the place given to the concubines in the tv show was too big, plus these women were usually studying differents subjects instead of gossiping all the time like they did it on the show.
