Sure, ML in Love n Redemption made it alive. Otherwise many fans (include me) would be on rage lol. After all those sacrifices he did! I think you should to try to watch this drama. Despite the blood, this drama is so interesting. After watched it, I understood why it became a hit in China years ago. I was the late watcher, fyi.
I highly recommend you to watch LLTG. I watched it when it was still ongoing. It is a historical mixed with fiction. I think LLTG brought all the troupe: revenge, intrigue, politic, family, romance, comedy. But all the conflicts are not that heavy because there is still comedy as relief. It is almost perfect. I can say it's more like historical romance. Their chemistry is so believable.
They don't split blood abnormally even though ML is injured several times. Quite normal. The ML and FL come from military circle.

This is something that you wish to watch in cinema. I enjoyed it a lot. Can't wait to watch the 2nd part !

It is ok as long as it is edible. They sometimes making faux blood from sauce, syrup, black sugar etc. I feel pity too if it is not edible.
Anyway, the bloody xianxia I have ever seen is Blood and Redemption*.
ML spitted too much blood than any other MLs in drama universe! Even people plagued with dengue fever or tuberculosis are not like that.

Have you seen Xianxia drama? Main leads usually spitting blood like waterfalls, everytime they got hurted. If it in IRL, they should to see doctor, taking bed rest, the least is getting blood transfusion.

What a great first episode! I like this kinda Japan mystery supernatural horror like this.
I think someone or a group make a use of native folklore or sort of tradition for personal gain. The supernatural event may be happened or not at all. Like in Wood Job movie.

I think it's the same pattern for Japanese actor. I hope he will have a stable career. I have seen many actor being pushed by agency and soon they perished without notice.
Eventough dorama have a shortest episode in drama world in 4 seasons, but I rarely see actor starred more than 1 drama in a year.

Yes.. So far I've watched 6eps. Wish they make it a bit longer. Perhaps 15 or 25mins /eps. Eventhough this is short and low budget drama, but it has an 'expensive' vibe drama.
