They are at the mercy of the director. LOL He likes to make tragic couples. I bet SH and MAS will die together, or one of them will die tragically. There is no turning point for SH to become a good guy. He was turning bad even before his father died.

That's the way the toxic guy trapped the girl. Distancing her from her kin and close friends. By killing people or using any extreme measure until no one is left by her side but her husband. And when everything is already too late to regret, she will realize that her husband is far from reliable.

Ansu is helpless. So much time is spent with DZ but she cannot learn how to think critically a bit as DZ. I don't think Dou Zhao is able to convince her to get back to the right track. I'm fully prepared to hear a tragic ending of her dying while defends Song Han.

Oh my my, I think Ansu is worse than Dou Ming. Nothing is as upsetting as being deceived by your close people.

I think it's about culture? The chance she chooses Hiroki route is higher than Fuyutsuki route. If it's K-drama, FL won't choose anyone, she will be going independent.

as far I know, many J-dramas that run 1eps/week on TV aren't fully pre-produced. After finalizing several early episodes, while running the drama, they continue filming. they still care so much about rating and people's opinion. and yes, they can alter the latter episodes. It's not strange practice in TV land. I bet Dorama and Kdrama have their own way to make the alteration subtle. -->if it's compared to opera soap in my country that can be changed drastically and absurdly..lol

Poor Kaori, she had to encounter such a vixen Mutsumi. No matter how good the guy is, Musumi will leave him once she feels bored and not intrigued again. First, she managed to make a cold-demeanor lecturer Kyosuke as her husband. And now she conquered someone's husband. Tbh, Musumi's tactic to gain sympathy, even if it was cheap and cringe but very useful irl.

I know I should not be petty but it keeps bothering me. As far I know, FL's private room is on the 2nd floor (she lived in 2 story building). In the other hand, ML is able to come and go easily through the secret door behind the FL's wardrobe board. The fact is, the drama always shows us that the secret passage of the mansion is somewhat beneath the ground. There is a secret tunnel system built by the late king (ML's father). It will be make sense if only FL's building clings onto the hills.

For me, among the five, this is my fav and the best chapter!

Song Han is a pampered 2nd son of Duke Song mansion. He hates Song Mo because people always compare him with Song Mo, the 1st son. But, particularly due to his father's evil teaching. Instead of educating his sons to be more benevolent toward each other, he sows the seed of hatred between them. His father also involved him in poisoning his (foster) mother who doted him so much. He becomes paranoid and insanely wants to compete with Song Mo. Jiyong is a distant relative of Dou Zhao, from her maternal side. He does not necessarily want to help FL and ML to go through turbulent times. He simply guards the progress of the people's fate in the current dynasty. But, I think he grows fond on Dou Zhao that he repeatedly warns her to stay away from Song Mo who often faces dangerous situations. So far, it is always DZ that helps SM to pass the trials of his life so that he won't be blackened (become a villain). Thank to DZ that Song Yichun lived longer (even though he eventually died in the prison) and Song Han got married to Miao An Su. They should have been killed by SM in their mansion back then.
