Yes.. they didnt have to take it to the extreme of saying grades and university dont matter. Because lets be real it does. I hope people dont take that message too literally. The point of this drama was to let the kids perform at their own pace and to say that failure is ok.

I am glad that the coach made seo jin confront how selfish she has been and how she could have treated Hyena better. Seo jin's character arc was perfect, and the actress is phenomenal. She truly lived up to the demands of the role of central character in the drama.
Prof Cha is hilarious. I think the actor who played him is the best actor among the dads and he had the most interesting character. Hope to see him in meaty roles in the future.

Among the recent ones, 'stranger' and 'my mister' are better compared to sky castle. As for the earlier ones, Misaeng, Signal and Dear My Friends are also among the best gems kdramas have offered. I also liked Lady in Dignity, the highest rated JTBC drama before sky castle. I feel Sky castle and it share similar vibes.

There's understanding why she did and then there's approving of what she did. Even though we don't know what we would do in a situation like that, I would hope that we would want to do the right thing. Not getting into uni is not the end of the world. Letting an innocent be branded as a murderer so that your daughter can get into uni is just the height of selfishness. There are limits to what we should be understandable about.

No one, not even kang joon sung deserves the kind of regret he will feel even though his anguish will be rewarding to us viewers. I can't believe Ye suh's mum kept the secret until the end. That should weigh on her conscience.

Yes, im disappointed. It feels too contrived like the writer decided to write that plot point in just to create the most drama. And because of it she killed off (pun not intented) too much character building potential.

Hye Na's faults that I can think of are taking assessments for another kid for money, using woojoo's feelings for her to get back at ye suh and maybe letting out the secret that she is the child of ye suh's dad when she had promised not to
Even taking assessments for money is understandable cause she needed it for her mother's treatment. And Ye suh did provoke her into letting out the secret by insulting her mother. The truly inexcusable thing she is doing is using Woojoo. Like I said before I think Ye suh genuinely likesYe bin.
As for manipulating Ye Suh's mum into hiring her an an in house tutor, she wanted to see her how her dad is living without revealing herself cause deep down she is scared her dad will not accept her and as much as Hye na was manipulating Ye suh's mum, Ye Suh's mum also had ulterior motives for letting Hye Na into the house. And Ye Suh's mum was truly horrible to her before and after the truth got revealed like threatening her to drop out of the election and putting her down to make her feel like like she will never belong.
Ye Suh is incredibly rude, self centred and disrespectful to most people and she resents Hye na cause she accepts that without the numerous expensive tutors who predict and prepare practice questions for her, Hye Na would beat her cause she is inherently more intelligent. So isnt it right what Hyena said about the rich. Yes she is bitter but she is also right.
I was surprised at the disproportionate hate Hye na was getting when Ye suh and her mum are still worse in my opinion. I just felt like I had to defend the girl.

People hating on Hyena forget that she just lost her mum die without any financial support while she was sick while pining over a man who is living a seemingly great life supporting a daughter who is getting all these unfair privileges due to her father's wealth. She is allowed to be bitter about it. And its not like Ye Suh and her mum made it difficult for her to hate them. To be honest, if Ye suh's mum had been even a little more compassionate toward her, Hyena wouldnt be this manipuative and resentful. And i think Hye na genuinely likes Ye Bin. But I love all the characters. The writer is great at giving them relatable human emotions and motives so while i dislike them i one scene, I feel for them in other scenes. Great acting all around too.
