Skimmed through the first 4 episodes, imo the pacing is not great and there were too many useless scenes. I hope we'll reach the core focus of the story soon otherwise it's gonna be boring

Same here, I know there are some places where cousins can get married and it always weirded me out. Blood related or not, I think family is family so I get why you feel uncomfortable and your feelings are absolutely valid, don't listen to the people that are trying to invalidate your opinion. To be honest I also feel uncomfortable (always have been) about the brothers to lovers trope and the only reason why I decided to watch this it's because the author is Priest and the acting seemed solid. We'll see if it lasts or I'll also get to the point where I can't take it anymore, but I just felt the need to comment cause I didn't like how mean some people were to you. I agree with you. It bothers me that people don't see any incestuous connotations in this relationship cause it's the same as implying adopted siblings are not siblings: they are! Just because Zhiyuan was not legally adopted doesn't mean he shouldn't be considered part of the family. As of right now Wei Qian clearly sees him as his little brother and Zhiyuan at the beginning also thought of him as his older brother, so they're siblings. Period. And even when their feelings toward each other will turn romantic it won't erase the fact that they were brothers at the start. There are no morality lenses or judgment, it's just a simple fact. People can recognize this and still enjoy the story - I for one am doing exactly this - without trying to gaslight anyone with a different opinion. We all have different standards about what makes us comfortable or uncomfortable.
