When So mentioned how he would find Hae Soo in another life ( something like that ) , it low key gave me second season vibes. Only then maybe So would end up in the present day and reconnect there. But then maybe I'm just dreaming. I loved this show so so much and cried like a baby the whole way through the last episode. Superb acting from Lee Joon Ki wow.
This show already has me hooked. it's already so good in my opinion. I'm also pleasently surprised by Yoona's acting. I was never a fan of it before but i'd say she's definitely improved.
Starting out I thought this would be a 10 in my book but it started to lose steam by the end. I'd still give it an 8 or 9 though cause I did really enjoy it. It just got too confusing at times and the ending didn't quite satisfy me as much as I was hoping it would. I would still recommend it to a friend though as it was different and worth a shot.
I also want to just take a moment to thank Jin Kyung for her acting in this because she did such an amazing job. She broke my heart at the end and made me feel so much because her emotions were so strong. I feel like she doesn't get enough praise.
Finally brought myself to watch the last episode and I will say it redeemed itself a little with that.
Considering how much I complained about this drama week to week I'm surprised at how much I cried at the end. I have a very love hate relationship with this drama.The first and last couple episodes were very good however, the middle in my opinion was just a mess which made this drama very frustrating and not as enjoyable for me. The OST was probably my favorite of the summer though.
I'm very much enjoying this show so far. Honestly, I see the foreshadowing of darker things ( like adultery, incest, etc but I'm actually ok with it. Oddly enough I'm anticipating it? As many have said previously in the comments, those things were common back in that time and I would applaud the producers for going where a lot of others would not. If done right I think those choices could make this drama really special.
Took me awhile to finish because it started dragging and became so incredibly boring. However, I loved the characters in this drama a lot. They're the main reason I got through it without dropping it.
I love Hyo Jin and Jung Suk which is why I was so excited for this show. The first episode left me wary but the second episode was much better and I can't wait for more.
