Yes you can skip right over them. Honestly imo they didn't even fit with the story until the last few episodes and felt sort of out of place. You already know their story and it doesn't show anything new so skipping changes absolutely nothing for the story

I feel scared to even say it because I don't want to upset anyone. His smile creeps me out. When he cries, his acting is 10/10 but the rest of the time it feels really disconnected and he constantly has the look of a "deer in the headlights". It just feels so fake and forced.
