Overall a cute Drama
I hope I won’t step on any feet here with this one but even though I quite liked the Drama, it has a lot of flaws. I understand the hype around it since it’s kind of one of a kind drama if you just watch Chinese dramas but I find it overrated.
the couples are sweet and the chemistry is amazing, but I feel like the whole story is missing something. there was plot but I don’t feel like it helped their individual character development.
I have a bit complicated feelings towards the characters and their choices during the drama. I felt like they were being displayed as smart but in the end it didn’t feel like they are smart.
somehow it all didn’t really work out for me.
but maybe I made the mistake to watch 12 letters and Legend of the female general before revenged love. my standard was quite high and it did not reach my expectation. So overall it’s not a bad drama but it could have been better.
