i will be frank: to me this story didn't make any f*cking sense.
like, who was the guy who found the diary (the first dude that appears at the beginning of the 1st ep and the one that appear at the end of the 3rd ep)?!
does he is one of the protagonists and if not, does he appears in the flashbacks?
this bl has so short that I couldn't even memorize the faces or names of any of them and since i watched all at once I probably also got a bit distracted by my phone at some point, as I usually do in other longer dramas, but like this one is so short that everything was important.

Dropped at the middle of ep 2. two j-bls in a row that i dropped for being too sexual and not mentioning in the synopsis but on top of it, had the problematic tropes on it.
if the other one had underage actors in intimate/s3x scenes (wtf japan), this one presented a really toxic relationship that there is no way after the unconsented s3x photo that Ritsu took and blackmailed to out him with it and the fact he never clarified their relationship and was cheating, i would want to ship it and i really hope they are not endgame (tho by the synopsis since the world will end they might not exactly be together but maybe Masumi will forgive him and they ended up dying together or smth)
Also let's not talk about the whole stigma that bi people always cheat. this bl really looks like a really a bad lgbt representation so it's a big NO for me
i bet if i search this was also an adaptation of a manga which we all know that tend to be written by a bunch of fetichists. we need more BLs written by lgbt people

Shiro x Ichiro it started to feel pretty much just bromance to me in one of the extra scenes at the end of the episodes (maybe by ep 6 or 7) when shiro wanted to call a hooker to sleep with Ichiro, thing it would not make sense if he was already in love by him, but i still had hopes i was wrong.

The thing is this drama was not censored at all.
Like, the 1st ep had a scene with Shiro naked with a man (in fact there was a lot of intimate scenes with those 2 that made quite clear they was sleeping together and they made it pretty obvious that the prime-minister was in love with him and did not handle well finding out that shiro was using him the whole time and didn't felt the same as him) and Shiro even stated in the 1st or 2nd ep that he is bisexual so if they really wanted they wouldn't had any problem into making it a BL.
To me dont seems to have any gay subtext between the 2 bc they didn't need to do it since they made the shiro x prime minister relationship so explicit. they just choice to make Shiro x Ichiro relationship a bromance instead of a romance like in the manga bc they was more interested in exploring the mystery plot than the romantic subplot.

The ending seems to suggest that there will be a season 2 bc there were loose ends and the real villains weren't caught but the drama is from 2022 and so far nothing so I don't know if there will be one. Anyone have news?

Funny thing is that i saw this in a site dedicate to BLs but i didnt read the review. i wish i did so i wouldnt had gotten my hopes too high. With a plot like this it was too good to be true. generally BLs make the characters' sexuality being the plot (like the whole plot as if there is nothing more to tell)

A part of me thinks this season 2 was completely wasteful. I was already not much into the 1st one due to the age difference and the fact that Shin was a minor, but at least they developed it without making Minato look like a groomer.
But this season it seems like they didnt knew what to do with the characters and they're just unnecessarily stretching the plot into 12 episodes (something they could have done in about 5 since majority of the episodes gave the same outcoming as if there was no character development at all).
Another thing they could have done to get around this problem was if they had written minato as asexual and that would explain a lot of his behavior. The same goes for Shu, who seems to have a slight trace of autism. They just needed to make this very clear in this bl that would explain a lot of things

At first i was in doubt whetherthis it was really a BL or not bc i was at 17min of 1st ep and it seemed to be more about a friendship between a girl and a boy that maybe could even turn into romance (tho I'm rooting for her to discover herself as a aroace or at least asexual because from the way she talked in that ep it seems to be).
i watched the whole ep and the BL part starts a little after 17m but i was scared this would be turned into a love triangle so i was indecise if i should watch it or not.
So i decided to read the reviews here and they are very mixed and some people say that it's very realistic but it's a very sad story. Then I read some spoilers to find more and by what people are describing this have a similar plot to the film "His" but unlike that movie it seems that the ending is really sad. I already didn't enjoy the movie "His" but only bc it was disappointing in relation to the bl series (if it had been released as a separate thing I might even have liked it more) so I certainly will not like this bl so to me it's not even worth continuing

they didn't communicate at all in the whole year that yaneda was away and for me the last straw was kaneda leaving yaneda all alone in his home at night to stay with the other dude for f*cking no reason and he didn't even comeback to his home to see if he was still there and to say sorry. they meet and talk briefly about it at the company
a mess is what those last episodes was.

it started good but the plot on the last 2 episodes is a disappointing mess.

Nagisa broke up with Shun and after some years, he come back with a kid and Shun god knows why become so passive and accept them to live with him for a while. That is a stupid plot and quite unrealistic in my opinion
A normal person after being dump wouldn't never welcomed back his ex, much less with a kid. i was hoping that Shun had a new boyfriend at least but as far as I've seen, it doesn't seem like :/
Also the kid annoyed me (but maybe is just me bc i am not that much found of kids)

The drama was good but the movie is boring. I was fine with the change of the actors (even tho Shun new actor don't look much like the other one) bc the characters are meant to be older but i didn't like the storyline at all. I drop it after 30m.
Maybe if you didn't watched the drama at all you will enjoy this movie but watching this after watching the drama make you have higher expectation and you probably will not like it.
Frankly It's not a good sequel bc is not what people who watched the drama wanted to see 😬

Anyway, bc of the whole problem in the last episodes with ghostwriting, i will make a headcanon the reason he was blacklisted it was related to it (like, he exposed someone powerful in the industry that was using a ghostwriter and in the end he did the same thing) otherwise makes no sense the whole story

i only watched the first 2 minutes and i found it cringy 😬 it's about a dude that draws p*rnographic webtoons. the synopse that i read in other site didnt mentioned that. i wish it did bc definitely is not for me since i prefer family friendly content
korea need to stop trying to adapt webtoons bc they usually tend to be extremely erotic and have no plot on it.
this is the 2nd i dropped bc of it (and probably will not be the last). it's quite easily to spot which bl is based on a webtoon or not bc the ones that are tend to be filled with erotic themes.

For me episode 17 is the true ending. I refuse to consider ep. 18 as the end of such bullshit it was (didn't even bother to watch that last episode until the end once i realized that she was going to end up with the ex). How could she get back to her ex-husband? Until the end she was with the 2nd male lead and in the last one the writers suddenly made her end up with the ex that betrayed her.

Anyway the drama was funny in the beginning but after they switch back to their bodies the drama started to be meh and like i said the "last" episode was the worse of them all. i dont understand why the writers feel that she needed to comeback to her ex-husband
